1) Revenge game for last year's playoff loss (even if SA has a new cast of characters).
2) SA is well rested and has had time to lick its wounds and make adjustments after losing a few in a row.
3) Aldridge who has been struggling should be able to feast on the Warriors scrubs with Green out.
4) The Warriors went all out last night for the win. With both KD and Thompson playing nearly 40 minutes. Can these two duplicate their performance from last night (they both had solid games), while playing heavy minutes again? Will Kerr even let them, or will he pull the plug if he sees the day is lost?
5) Kerr got out-coached again last night. This time by Rick Carlisle. A couple of days ago it was D'Antoni. And now he faces the master himself. I just don't trust Kerr, his coaching, or his lineups. Once again, he will need/rely on his stars to come up big to win this game.
The only caveat here is if Green plays. All indications are that he won't. But he has not been officially ruled out. If he plays, that could change things in a big way. It will also show just how desperate the warriors are to get this win and change the narrative. So we will keep an eye on that. If I was Green, I would not play to further prove just how bad the Warriors are without him.

Thanks, fellas. I'm glad the Spurs came through for us. To be honest, I was actually pretty disgusted with myself today because I had that Laker game circled last night but then forgot all about it. Walton pulled his guys out early in Orlando the other night (starters played 25 minutes) to save them for the Miami game tonight! Unlike the SA game, that one was a wire to wire job. So it would have been nice. Oh well.

Nice hit .. wondering what do you really think is going on with the Warriors? If you think its to the point where Green would sit games to prove a point that the Warriors need him I think that is a very serious issue .. Do you think the Warriors are seriously considering trading Green? I was thinking this is all just early season drama and once Curry comes back everybody will be happy and friendly again as they roll to a 3 peat, am I wrong?

I don't think you are wrong. But it could go either way. My hunch is it will work itself out, at least for this year. I'll be curious to see if Green plays against the Thunder. If he does, I love GS in that game.
