GucciCapper hopes everyone tailed the Nuggets today. If not, GucciCapper thinks that the "Wolf Moon" will come a bit early this month. If you guys don't know, the full moon this month is called the Wolf Moon. It's in 13 days, but GucciCapper needed a creative title for this thread. GucciCapper is laying 2 points with the Timberwolves (believe it or not) for the following reasons.
1) Hard to Beat the Same Team 2x in a Row - Look what happened with the TWolves and the Spurs a few games back in Minnesota. The first game the TWolves lost in overtime 125-122. The following day, the TWolves came back and won 96-88. A couple days ago, the TWolves blew a lead to the Grizzlies and lost 118-107. GucciCapper expects them to bounce back today against the same Grizzlies squad.
2) Memphis 3-0 on this road trip? - GucciCapper doesn't see much from this Memphis team and would be shocked if they finish this mini road trip 3-0. This is a spot that GucciCapper always likes in the NBA. A team on the road that has a Back to Back at home the following day. After the Grizzlies lose to the TWolves, they go home to host the 76ers. Usually teams in this situation come out lethargic for whatever reason and GucciCapper predicts that the Grizzlies will give a half-hearted effort tonight.
3) Losers of 8 out of 9 - It's always hard to back a team that are losers of 8 out of 9, but GucciCapper sees a bit of improvement lately out of these TWolves. They are injury questions on both sides of the ball but GucciCapper isn't worried about it. These Timberwolves should be able to bounce back and fight hard after blowing a 3rd quarter lead and being outscored 38-17 to the Grizzlies last game.
So there you have it boys. It's always hard to lay points with one of the worse teams in the NBA, who are also in a huge slump. But GucciCapper is quite confident that the Timberwolves will take care of business today. Lay the 2 points and follow GucciCapper into the weekend!
