I called it yesterday, parker returning is a net negative for the spurs, and I put huge money on detroit spread and ML after hearing that news. Im now a much happier man.
Similarily, eric gordon is a huge net negative for the pelicans. Im much less confident about pels with EJ in the lineup, as he received 33 minutes last game and did not contribute much.
In contrast, kemba has been shooting the ball really well, ala Jennings.
I know I said pels was free money earlier, but that was because I thought eric gordon was still out.
Im going to make a huge laker spread play tonight if kobe is still out. The idea here is identify teams who have terrible players (parker, kobe, eric gordon, smith) traded/injured then take the spread on those teams. Vegas and the public still thinks guys like tony parker, kobe bryant, josh smith, eric gordon are good players. They might have once been respectable players, but those 4 guys have been absolute cancers this season.
