Has this been the single most bizarre NBA playoffs ever ?

LA outplays Denver for majority of series on the score board but ultimately succumbs 4-1 to the Nugs with every game down to the wire. Denver touted best team in the NBA with the best player in the world.

Wolves absolutely destroy the Durant, Booker ,Beal Suns. 4-0 looking like title contenders.

Wolves/Nuggets “winner of this series will win the title” sports talk.  Wolves go up 2-0 on the road. Lose 3 in a row and suddenly the Nuggets are title favorites again.  Nugz up 20 in game 7 at home find a way to lose that game. I’m still astonished by that game 7. Loss for the ages. 

Wolves are the talk of the town. Ant Man, Michael Jordan,  Boston Minny will be a great series. Etc etc.

Quietly the MAVS dispatched the Clippers who ironically played them better than Minnesota has. Mavs knocked out the 1 seed OKC Thunder and now they’re up 3-0 on the world beating Wolves. 

Mavs now have the best team in the world title. If this insanely unpredictable playoff run continues, MAVS will steal a game in Boston 1-1 series heading back to Dallas. 2-2 heading back to Boston.

Boston wins game 5 and closes the series @ Dallas in a nail biter.

Boston World Champs in 6.

What might add a little flavor to this crazy playoffs is one of the teams for the first time ever wins a playoff series coming back from 0-3 for the first time ever…

If the T-Wolves pulled that off, that would be absolutely bonkers. That would make these conference finals so much fun, but.....it can't happen because KAT and Rudy are a pair of useless giraffes.

Right. Also, I saw that Kyrie is 15-0 closing out games, so the odds of that happening is .01 percent. Another thing I read is that there never has been a time where both conference finals has swept their opponents. So, I guess that adds the little flavor to this crazy playoffs.

That is why instead of just backing the Mavs again who look destined to sweep and are only laying 1.5 i took the total.

I don't see how the Wolves aren't mentally broken now but it's the wacky nature of the sport. Pacers looked like they would avoid a sweep they blew the lead again. Wolves have also had the lead every game in the 4th.

Somehow I think the obvious play will lose because like you said it's pretty bizarre stuff going on. That's the nature of this beast.

Wolves would seemingly have a bigger task to try not to get sent home on the road but watch now after all the talk of being super aggressive didn't work Ant will have a great game and the Wolves will extend the series. They did manage to pull out some back to the wall victories last series. Gotta hit some 3s that's the key to every game. If Dallas hits them again and Wolves don't, forget it.

But they also need some offensive output from the frontcourt. Maybe Lively being out can help that. Haven't been any lobs to Rudy which is his only offense. All the lobs are on the Dallas side because they're so worried about Doncic and Irving they can throw it up for other guys to get dunks.

With the 3s not falling and Lively out the Wolves need to try and attack the paint, Dallas isn't a defensive team you need to attack them down low that's how the Celtics have handled the Pacers when the 3s aren't working.

Sam Cassell is the difference in that coaching staff! He deserves to be a head coach! I was hoping the Rockets would make him head coach b/c HTown loves him!

Absolutely and the least entertaining or watchable.  I've never had less interest in the NBA playoffs as a fan.  If I wasn't betting on the NBA I wouldn't even be following the playoffs.  To hell with the flagrant foul rule.  Let's restore physicality to the game.  Let's bring back rivalry to the game.  Let's bring back fist fighting to the game.  This BS is boring.  Honestly, I find the WNBA more entertaining now.
