@JohnBacho&#xA; it&#x27;s a tournament within the tournament. prize money for each player, trophy for the team, awards that will be added to their credentials. all of this to encourage players to compete in mid season. games are easier to cap considering their schedule, location of games, power rankings, etc.

Also, point differential matters in the case of teams ending up tied at the end of the group stage.  So you will see teams still trying to score even if they are up big to increase their point differential
