when the ref's were told to call everything so there would be more offense. Now they blow ticky tac shit every time they see the slightest contact on drives and when they don't see it they lean foul an blow the whistle. Players flop now and it doesn't help the situation.
If they let them play the players wouldn't mind unless they are on the weak side and those players wouldn't get respect from fellow players
The 90's were the last of real basketball

Guys like AD would shatter into a million pieces if he were to play in that era lol. Ayton and Booker would cry mommy if he tried to drive to the basket with his scrawny little ass against Bill Laimbeer and the bad boy Pistons. Charles Oakley and Anthony Mason from the Knicks too lol

I hate when people refer back to the 80-90’s from the standpoint of being brutalized. That’s not basketball. There was enough good defense being played instead of referring to actual hacking. They rarely threw you out then and rarely fined or suspended it’d be no different today if the rules were the same. Rex should be ashamed for bragging about that clip. If you blame players for their style today you’re a casual they have only adjusted to what’s allowed. Blame the league and them only for this brand of ball.

These dude just sprint down the court all erratic like they are high crane sugar which leads to a lot of sloppy basketball, would definitely like to see more tactical offense
