Home teams in Game 7 who won Game 6 are 11-3 since 2003

Home teams in Game 7 who won Game 6 are 11-3 since 2003, 5-1 after the first round. Just a trend, doesn’t have anything to do with these two teams, just throwing it out there.

Saw this on twitter @HPbasketball. 

27-14 all time. 

Interesting.  Do you know how many of the 11 game 7 home games won were not favored odds?

Home team has been the underdog just twice in a game 7.

2018 Rockets vs Warriors - Rockets lost

2015 Rockets vs Clippers - Rockets win

I just looked this up.  2018, Warriors was favored -12.5 at home.  2015, Rockets were home dogs +2.5 just like Miami this time.  I was leaning Miami anyways, but this gives me even more reasons..

Brother, that 2018 GSW - HOU game 7 was in Houston. Houston were underdogs at home. It was the game CP3 was out for due to hamstring injury. 

ok, my bad. I was looking at the game 6.  But 2018 game 6 was in Golden State and Home team Warriors won so this game doesn’t count in this..

I can tell you’re looking for an angle to feel good about your Heat bet tomorrow lol. I’ve been there. Just keep in mind the Celtics are 11-3 in Miami since 2014. Celtics have also only lost back to back games 1 time in their last 52 games played (including 5-0 after a loss this postseason) and that was on March 28th when they lost in OT to the Toronto Raptors missing Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Al Horford and Robert Williams.

The NBA is obv. rigged so nobody knows what the hell is gonna happen with this game.

Do you have any evidence of this so called “rigging” games?

I actually read they were 6-6 in the last 12 in an article from last round. 7-7 after the Mavs and Celtics won.

Yeah according to SDQL that stat is not true. Home teams (dog or fav) are 17-7 SU in Game 7’s if they won game 6 since 2003

But (there is always a but), home teams are 14-0 SU in a game 7 when they won game 6 on the road by 6 or more points
