Seriously. Even having 10 units on a game doesn’t help with the entertainment value of this once great league. The NBA is more boring than curling. Coming from a former die hard that grew up on this league from the late 1980s until the early 2010s.

So I'm assuming everybody wants to see a final score of 84-79... Where the center's playing the post and the power forward playing the post and the only people that shoot threes is the shooting guard maybe the small Forward....
The a lot of the guys that were on NBA rosters back then wouldn't even make a roster nowadays cuz they're not skilled enough. You have to be able to shoot the three. If you're a center or power forward nowadays you have to be able to guard on the perimeter and guard the pick and roll. It's just the way the game is...players are more skilled. If you don't believe me, just go watch some of the basketball in the '80s and '90s...
I loved the Jordan Era but game has evolved... The way the Detroit Pistons and Bill Laimbeer and Rick Mahorn played that Physical style of basketball where they're just going to clobber you when you can come into the paint doesn't work anymore. You'll just get destroyed guys shooting perimeter jump shots all day on you pulling the centers out pulling the big men out...etc....
So basically everybody here would rather have a mixture of what you saw in the '80s and '90s and a mixture of what you're seeing now.

thats why you bet before the game starts and not the night before
NBA today has lots of last second changes in the lineup

@JohnBacho
It’s not even about the betting though. It’s the entertainment value or lack thereof. Watching the NBA has never been more of a grind than it is today. Not even close.
The strategy has been almost stripped away entirely. Teams have no identity anymore. For the most part every team and every player is trying to do the same thing. It’s the exact same thing that’s happened to baseball.
