To me Jokic is the better scorer (super soft touch and can score at all levels), 1000x the better passer, better rebounder, and better leader as well as decision maker. Embiid probably better defense though.
However, all in all, I would pick Jokic all day long over Embiid. Jokic brings it every single night, Embiid less consistent.

mvp should be a two way award of sorts if not then give the guys who dont/cant play defense something else and call it offensive player of the year. if youre great offensively it should be so much so that it overshadows your defensive liabilities in which I consider jokic to be. he's won two in a row seems people try to act like that hasnt happened already and he's never won it. shouldnt be just all offense if you score 25 but give up 25 then what good are you. you at least should be serviceable on defense. jokic is great on one side of the ball and a liability on the other. nash's offensive contribution perhaps overshadowed defensive liabilities have no problem with him winning mvp, but 2, dont know. embiid, giannis, both 2 way players. imagine if they rested or didnt do shit on defense the extra energy theyd have would be much more offensive contribution and their numbers would be even crazier.

It was stupid but after that I figured embiid was gonna win. Both deserve it in my opinion. But jokic was the real mvp in my eyes. Playoff proved it.
