I slow replayed it and the backboard light went on with .2 left. so maybe espn clock is wrong to the actual clock

doesnt the ESPN clock run off the official clock?

I slowed it down on replay....his finger tips were still on ball as red light went on backboard.

Didn't matter to me anyway since I had 6.5....but I'm sure Rostos you'll be on here claiming conspiracy won't you!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I rewound it and paused it as the ball was in the basket there was 0.2 secs left on the clock...clear as day...i took a pic with my iphone i will email or text it to anyone who wants to see it

If this is true then it was no basket.  But the clock did say 0.2 when the red light lit up.

I just rewound my hdbox and compared the in arena clock to the espn clock and there is a 0.2 sec difference between them.  The clock on the back of the net does hit 0.0 before he puts the ball in.  

Just *!@% sucks losing a grand on a fraction of a second.  But at least I know they got it right and I won't go to bed believing conspiracies.

Okay, I've watched the replay about ten times, and my conclusion (going by the red light) is that that is as close as a basketball player can come to scoring a basket without having the basket count.  Terry's hand was still on the ball as the red light went on, but he'd already flushed the ball through the cylinder.  The ball was in the hoop, but his hand was still on the ball. 

Imagine the controversy if the line had been 5.5 instead of 6.5.  This thread would grow to become 25 pages long.
