If this Clippers Team can't get motivated enough to win on Opening Night...wow!!!!!

I want to believe The Clippers played down to the Lakers tonight but this laker team can't play any defense whatsoever.  This Clippers loss was inexcusable.  What the hell should we expect from the Clips the rest of the year if their defense is gonna be like tonight? Atleast they would of covered ATS under Del Negro.  And I'm never betting against the Lakers or on the Lakers under this stupid dantoni administration.  All 12 players on this Laker team have a green light to shoot the most ill-advised shots ever imagined.  Last time I faded the Lakers they scored 19 3pt shots in the 1st half.  Clippers could'nt stop Lakers from scoring whatsoever tonight. Purely unbelievable.

By the way the last Quarter weren't even Starters off the bench so what does that tell you

You said it bro.  Hook line and sinker I bit the bait dude. Took Clippers-4.5 in a teaser with miami-pk.  Really expecting them to get a solid first win for coach rivers on opening night.  Clippers just did'nt want the win.

They couldn't find anybody better to start for the Clippers than JJ Reddick? lol.  When I saw him as a starter, I was like.  Clippers don't have the look of a contender.  Roster last year looked better than this one.  Maybe in the long run it will work out for them.  Their roster just doesn't look that great to me this year.

Maxx how do you explain the clippers losing tonight then dude.  If you had the Lakers congrats.  But explain to me how the Clippers just let the Lakers shoot 3's.  When everyone in this stupid league knows its only thing the Lakers have. Jody meeks, steve blake can't put the ball on the ground and go to the hoop.  All they have is that stupid jumper and they STILL let them shoot the 3 unguarded.

Other than CP3 and sometimes Blake Griff....who is that good on LAC???

Reddick and Dudley have been shooting jumpers on awful teams to get numbers.

W T F happened? I thought Rivers was supposed to bring a better defensive minded team???  They gave up 110+ points to a Kobeless Laker team?  And 41 to Laker scrubs in the 4Q?! 

It's like they regressed defensively?!? 

It makes you wonder whether Doc Rivers is any good or whether it was Thibodeau and KG that really made the Boston defense click.

The fix was in this clipper game, if clippers would of won and cover ats Vegas would of lost big money in parlays, teasers and ml.

Clippers lost me tonight when they lost SU to a non-playoff team. To me it speaks volumes about this Clippers team.  They played better defense last year under Del Negro for christ sake. /i don't want to overreact to a opening night loss but maybe the city of los angeles doesnt match Doc rivers defensive personality like boston did.  If this Clippers team is too hollywood to play defense forget about it.

I have no idea what happened.  I don't even want to hear the word "championship " come out of the mouth of any of those trashbag clippers after tonight.

I lost...i fell in this trap bet.  Clippers ML...unbelievable.  They definetly took lakers for granted thinking they could turn the on button anytime.  Seriously who is Xavier Henry? How do you lose to a backcourt of Steve Blake and Steve Nash?

I bit hard on clippers in ml and teaser. Night started strong And then got buried. I should know better Blake and deandre are too cool to ever be real winners. How does this team allow the bad news bears laker team do this to them.

I'll have my moments when I bet on the Lakers too and just get blown out of existence on the court.  When I fade this Kobeless scrap heap team They make unlimited 3 pointers.

CP3 did not deliver in the crucial moments to boost the lead when they are ahead.  The rhythm of the clippers were not present.  It was costly on my end to have picked them over Kobe less Lakers.  Vegas won since money poured in the Clippers.

I had lakers +10 last night. It was a no brainer to me. Clippers weren't good in the half court defensively last year and they looked just as bad in the preseason. I figured the Lakers would be able to get any shot they wanted, and they were 4-0 opening nights without Kobe prior to that gm. Lastly the public was heavy on LAC. media hype storm! I was 4-0 tonight, check for my thread Fanatics Corner, and let's make some money!

Great point, man.  I have had this discussion with my friend before and I agree that Rivers is way overrated and Thibodeau and Garnett were the crucial elements of the Celtics winning.  He's probably better than Del Negro, but he isn't a top 2 or 3 coach in the league like everyone wants to say.
