Has anyone else noticed this? Indiana is on a six game win streak against bottom feeders. They've won against Char (2), GS, NOLA (2), and NJ. GS has a (.412) win pct, the rest are UNDER .316. In fact, if you take out the one win against NJ, the rest of their wins (4 of them) are against the two teams that basically will end the season in the last spot.
Indiana was on a 5 game losing streak right before this and they played all current playoffs teams (except Clev), with win percentages all above .500.
Now I'm not a stellar capper by any means, but this does jump out at me considering they're taking on the Bulls tonight that actually have been playing stud teams in their six game win streak, like PHL last night.
And, given the fact that the pacers beat Chi in Chi earlier this year, there is a revenge angle here. This, in my eyes, has blow out city all over it. They might keep it close early, or even by half, but Chi will pull away at some point.
Any thoughts?
