It's time for David Stern to RETIRE!!!

This guy made a joke out of the league after numerous unprofessional and questionable decisions in this short season alone...I will not even mention the things he has been up to throughout the last decade...

Cancelling of the CP3 trade that was already agreed upon by all 3 sides...Changed the outcome of possibly the whole playoffs picture out in the West...
Pao Gasol was depressed whole season long, Clippers were made into a semi-decent team, Odom got dropped by Lakers and they got nothing in return for it, New Orleans lost their star anyway.

The lottery being rigged scandal...By N.O. getting the first pick it solidifies the NBA's chance of selling the team for a legitimate price

Stern's outburst on the Rome radio show...Who is he to tell a radio show host who's job is to ask controversial questions "Have you stopped beating your wife yet" on live air?

This guy should be booted by the owners and replaced by the man of their majority vote...

Well the owners want the person who is going to bring them the money and it seems pretty much everyone on this site believes the NBA is altogether rigged (which i don't) , so if that is the case the owners are surely in on it and they making $$$$ so therefore they happy.

Whichever way your opinion sways in regards to rigged games, Stern with these shenanigans have made a fool of himself and the league...he needs to go

wernt the hornets sold before the draft lottery , i dont think the lottery was rigged, i dont think the other owners are havin that !

But I honestly can't see him leaving soon, I mean he is having so much fun and raking in so much dough.

The only way for him to leave is to be forced out because of some scandal or something.

dumb thread. stern is the best gm in all  the sports.

he took over when the nba was on the brink, and his turned the league into the second most popular league in america (yes, more popular then mlb now). 

i dont count goodell because he was handed the keys to a ferrari.

bettman of the nhl is a joke, and selig has gotten progressively worse.

have you ever heard of a "loaded question"? This was Stern's response to Rome asking him a ridiculously stupid question. I don't blame stern at all for his outburst on Rome

You have to have controversy. Big sports atleast needs it. We need blown calls or bad business decisions, it makes sports more interesting to watch. Except boxing that sport has been dead since MMA started becoming popular.

Blown calls, bad business decisions and controversy are one thing, but being so disrespectful to people who cover your industry and not allowing teams to do what the rules state they could allow to do just because it doesn't serve your best purpose (the laker, CP3 trade) is another...

I think he is terrible and that is my opinion...The league should be about the game and its players and not the commissioner!!!

ONly way to stop that thought is for the owners to boot him out, which they probably wont because Stern did do a stellar job in the beginning of his career, he shoudlve just left when time was right instead of over doing it...
