OVERALL RECORD:  22-22   (-$420)

0-3 last night...worst night of the season so far and it was all on my shoulders.  Didn't have time to research any of the games...just went on the lines and reacted to what I felt.  Didn't realize that Wiggins was out for the Wolves, didn't realize that Kobe was out for the Lakers.  Oh well...moving on to today's slate.

LA Lakers vs Orlando OVER 201  ($110 to win $100)

Want to know about a fantastic cure for offensive blues?  It's called playing the Lakers.  Orlando will have no problem getting some solid offensive looks tonight.  Without Kobe on the court, the Lakers play a lot faster and a lot more out of control...which bodes well for the OVER.

Prediction:  Magic 108  Lakers 102

Detroit Pistons +1  ($110 to win $100)

Going to ride with them for one more game against a much weaker opponent.  They were hanging right with the Warriors for more than half the game the other night before losing steam in the 4th quarter.  The Kings have had by far the easiest schedule in the league this year, and haven't had to leave the state of California essentially.  Sad thing is, with a majority of home games, they haven't done a damn thing with it.

Prediction:  Pistons 107  Kings 100

Philadelphia 76ers +10  ($110 to win $100)
Philadelphia 76ers ML  ($20 to win $90)

I might have just lost my damn mind...but I think the Sixers have a good shot at winning this game tonight.  Raptors lost a tough game last night against the Knicks at home...and have now lost 3 straight games after their hot start.  Main reason for this is no Carroll and no Ross...a starting SF and a key bench energy guy.  You could see how much their offense lost their groove from the first couple weeks...now James Johnson has to start which isn't a plus and Corey Joseph and Anthony Bennett have to log more minutes as well.

San Antonio vs Portland OVER 202  ($110 to win $100)

With the way the Blazers have adjusted their game, I see no reason why this one won't sail over the 202 number.  With Lillard and McCollum in the backcourt they get out and run and try and use their speed, and the Spurs aren't known for their speed.

I believe Kobe will be playing today and his missed yesterday's game for "rest" according to Byron Scott. I still like the over as Orlando should be able to put up well over 100 on this sorry bunch.

*Looks like it is now being reported Kobe has a sore back and is doubtful so the Lakers will definitely want/try to run and gun with Orlando.
