Seems like there is great value in taking the Pacers for the series at +310 or the series spread at +2.5 -144.
NYK only played 8 guys in game 1 and now M. Robinson is out for the season. The starters all played more than 42 mins in game 1 other than Hartenstein who played 36.
This is the NBA playoffs. It's a grind. I find it very difficult for NYK to keep that kind of production up with a rotation of 5-7 players. Sure, they could use some other bench players but what kind of production are they going to get from them? Sims who put up double digit points ONCE this season? Diakite? What's going to happen if the Knicks get in foul trouble one game? What if there is another injury?
I'm routing for the Knicks as I think a NYK vs BOS ECF would be awesome but there are so many negative 'what-ifs' that Knicks could fall apart because of their depth/current injuries. I think the Pacers are young and need another star to make a true push for the finals but they could steal 1 in NY and then head home and get hot.

Also, Brunson is playing out of his mind. He's going to have to come back down to earth at some point. He's not going to keep up these high point totals throughout the playoffs or even this series.

I just wrote about this in my thread too, and I agree with you. At what point do they get tired? I mean Brunson is a one man wrecking ball scoring 40+ a game but he's due to regress a little or some kind of adjustments made to slow one dude down. I think the later the series goes on the more it favors the Pacers. The Knicks really need to win this tonight, but that doesn't always play out how you think it would.
Play the game. Don’t let the game play you.

Rooting for the Knicks, but also worried about the minutes and exertion. No way they aren't exhausted or become exhausted. And no 2 day break between games 1 and 4.

If Pacers steal the game tonight heading home tied 1-1, everything changes. If someone on NYK gets an injury, even a small one holding them out for 1 game, changes everything. If Brunson goes cold or is held in check, everything changes. So many opportunities for Pacers to get an advantage. I'm laying down some dough on Pacers. Value is too good to pass up. If it loses, props to NY and I'll enjoy the ECF living right in between the hopeful matchup of Bos & NY.
