Do you think the hype around Lin will bring this line down, or is -9.5 as low as the heat will be in this game? I see some books at -10, but mine is still at -9.5&#xD;&#xA;Appreciate the feedback...

I don&#x27;t see this line getting any bigger than -10 if that&#x27;s what you&#x27;re asking.  I don&#x27;t think it is Lin moving the line lower, but rather Lin, Baron, Amare, Melo and J.R. all playing that will move the line to 9 or even 8.

I think the hype can bring it down to -9, -8.5 at best most likely, there's so many people blinded with Lin-Sanity, I wouldn't jump on it at -9.5, worst case I think you'll be able to get that at various points throughout the day

Knicks hit 18 three pointers while Miami only hit 2 three pointer and the Heat still ended up winning by 10 points. Books are trying to lure people to lay money on the Knicks.

When you watch the Heat you see how easy they score the ball.

Then after made baskets, which they get a lot of. They are back to play defense, which they do a good job of.

Sacramento shot the lights out at Miami putting up 108 points last game...13/27 from 3, or 41%. Miami still beat them by 12. Miami has won their last 7 by double digits.

Bottom line is:

Miami is going to score the ball.

The question is how potent offensively are the Knicks going to be?

Knicks got out to an early lead today; then they lost the 2nd half to a poor Atlanta squad. Lack of focus and looking ahead to the Miami game? Likely.

I think Miami has the clear advantage defensively. Especially when you think of who will the Knicks use to cover Lebron & Wade?

I don't see how the Knicks can get the right mix of defense and offense out on the floor at the same time. They will need Jeffries and Fields in the game at the same time. Maybe Jeffries, Fields, Amare, Melo, Lin? If I see that lineup out there I might be worried about my Heat bet but if not I'll be watching a massacre.

The one thing about this game is that if the Knicks aren't scoring the ball, Miami will be. And it could get out of hand if that New York offense gets down early.

I'll be hitting Miami -9.5

i have a very good feeling that the Knicks will cover..Melo is going to have alot to prove againts his rival Lebron James.. and with the likes of baron davis and JR smith back in the line up it will give the knicks a lot more bench fleability.
Lin is going to have to have a excellent game againts wade..If wade takes him as a joke which i think he will hes gonna be in for a surprise. Lin has been playing outstanding and he wants to win more then anyone on the court right now. im not saying the knicks are going to win, because i really dont think they will. but these knicks are really starting to bond and they definitely have more potential at the moment than any other NBA team. . there going to keep it close

The Knicks had 21 turnovers tonight and only won because dog shit Atlanta turned it over 24 times.  You turn the ball over against the Heat they will capitalize on those Turnovers.

this is playing out just how i suspected, the hype around the knicks is bringing this line down, in favor of my heat bet. it&#x27;s at -9 now, and like a few of the posters mentioned above, it might drop to -8.5 by gametime.

I think the safer bet is the Under.. Honestly why did this go from 199 to 202?UNDER.UNDER.UNDER.. Line should be 186.5  not 199..or now 202..

My concern is Chris whats his name blowing it if he gets the ball in his hands like he has obviously done in the past. HE CAN BE BOUGHT!!!!!!

Knicks have to come back down to earth.....I personally thought Dallas would be the night and defeating the lowly Hawks doesn't mean anything.....Heat will out-physical, out-shoot and suffocate the Knicks on both ends.....Knicks may play with Miami the first qtr or so but there is no stopping Lebron, Wade, Bosh. Miller and Battier hit 9 3s between them.
