AD says he's unsure if he will play. He only played 20 minutes vs the Pacers. The Pels have already said they will reduce his minutes for the rest of the season. Jrue's minutes will also be reduced for the rest of the season. Even if AD plays he might see very few minutes on the floor vs Lakers on a B2B. Pels are trying to protect him from injury.
Clippers won at Grizzlies today. The Clippers are not laying down for the Lakers at all for that 8th playoff spot. This is the type of game the Lakers will need to win down the stretch to make the playoffs.

The Lakers are making the playoffs.. Ratings are down so they script it for the Lakers to struggle to make the playoffs to increase ratings.. It is all about the drama and suspense

These next 3 games for the Lakers are very winnable as they play the Pelicans x 2 and the Grizzlies. They should go 3-0 in those games which puts them at 32-29. That would leave them with 21 games to go for the reg season. Out of those 21 games, as of now they would be playing 14 teams that have a current win percentage of 500% or more, so its not going to be easy. But these next 3 games they need to win if they want to keep their playoff chances alive.
The Clippers are at 33-27, so they have 22 games to go and out of those 22 games, they play 14 teams win a 500% of higher win percent.
The Kings, at 30-28 with 24 games to go have 13 teams to play above 500%
Jazz at 32-26 have 24 games to go and only 11 of those games are against decent teams above 500% right now. For me, the Jazz will make the playoffs given that schedule.
Spurs, are 33-27 right now with only 22 games to go and 12 of those games are against 500% of higher team.
Given the way the Lakers handled their last road trip (horrendous apart from beating Celtics) I think they can go to NO and to Memphis and get the wins they need. Whether they cover is a different story because I always find it hard backing and team which Lebron plays for.
