I don't get what the complaint is. Is the complaint that Spoelstra didn't do what some degen douche wanted?

It's the nba let the fans see the best players for the whole games. It's isn't some friendly kids game they can score as may points for all I care finish the game and win by as much as they want.

I agree with OP, spoelstra should have emptied the bench considering how the game was clearly over after the third quarter. Sactown already waved the white flag so why pour it on? The thing that really did it for me was when they showed spoelstra's smug smile after chalmers tied brian shaw's record. What a classless prick. For reference, i had miami -4 half and -7.5 for game.

clearly you guys don't know anything about the heat. chalmers in garbage time happens a lot. this is nothing new and this won't change. he was playing in these games the last 2 years, so quit complaining. do your research.

Spo didn't leave him in the game up, he put him back in and took him out after a few minutes. Chalmers wanted back in but Spo said no. Enough said. Quit crying. 



Chalmers came back in the game midway through the fourth quarter and made two more 3s to tie Shaw's mark. But he never got off another 3 and left the game after playing just under three minutes in the quarter.

''I asked him (Heat coach Erik Spoelstra) to put me back in. I knew what the record was,'' Chalmers said. ''I wanted to get one more to beat it.''

records are made to be broken so IMO he should have given him  a chance to finish it off. as many problems as the Heat are having they could have used the boost in morale if Chalmers had broken the record.
