I am not a LJ hater, but I do think he lacks a few things. I honestly feel for the guy b/c the second he got into the NBA he has had so many expectations on his shoulders being compared to the greats. After his move to the Heat they got so much worse. He didn't help his cause with the entire "decision" marketing project. Anyways to the point, I believe James is immature when it comes down to his core personality. If he would have play at least 1 yr of college ball he would have matured so much. I am not taking about under the pressure of the game but when society and media start hitting him hard, he will point fingers or freeze, that is what I mean (peer pressure). People may argue well "what about KG or Koby", why did this not happen to them. Well they too had the pressure but KG played a different style of basketball. SG/ SF position is the most scrutinized position in the NBA. Koby at least experience some of the European basketball so matured from that. Again I believe LJ is a great player and will go down in history as one of the greats. From the numbers you can compare him to Jordan like everyone does. I on the other hand take into other factors like the maturity and the "je ne se qua" flair that brought a different mentality to the game. This is why Jordan will always be the icon everyone is compared to and will be the best.
There are moments where you can see LJ step past this flaw and prosper but he will alway be held to a different standard and that will hold him back. Honestly if LJ loses game 7 but steps ip to the media not pointing fingers and like Duncan did after loss to Durant says they were the better team that is a step in the positive. If he wins and is humble saying how great Boston was and saying how talks more about the changes his team made to faceoff in this game 7 then its a positive. Again my two cents.

Save2Kick, I just want to put in my two cents:

To rephrase part of that my last statement when I mean "They were the better team" I am states LJ says that about Boston. If heat win instead of remarking about his play or of whoever might have shined in the game, he speaks of the preparation and way they addressed problems before, during, or in key points of game 7 then he is making positive steps. Its his image and the flair he brings to the game of basketball that will define him. He really did that in Cleveland and it showed when they beat Det to make it to the finals. He has to show the love Jordan, Reggie, and some of the greats did for the game rather then a hunt for the "bling" or ring that will be his trophy to compare him. That what I mean.

Just want to start by saying that lebron James is a beast and is one of the best player of all time. The reason I don't like him cuz of attitude. Leaving ur hometown team just because u couldnt beat Boston was a box move. The greats like Jordan, magic, bird, Kobe would ever do that. The greats find a way to win with the team thy got. I mean it was not like James didnt have decent players. Antwan Jamison was a good PF. Mo Williams isn't too bad either. I believe Cleveland was close to winning if lebron never left. Lebron just don't have the killer instinct. The greats will their team to victory. They put their team on their shoulder and carry them home. Lebron have always disappear during crunch time. I have to give it to him in this past game, he played like an absolute beast. But that's one game. I believe he will mature into great player, but I will still think he's a box for leaving Cleveland. I lost all respect for him after that.
