1. Hard to find a side to like in the ORL/WAS game, would feel much more comfortable with evaluating this game if we knew Nene and D-12 status or if D-12 gave a flying ****. Really tough to back ORL given the turmoil going on with that team -- then again, ORL just pasted DET at home without D-12. Washington has been playing better recently but still is a side lacking in quality. The UNDER 195.5 may be the best play on this game.
2. Boston has been absolutely rolling and the +7 looks like a gift. Then again, we know how these things usually happen when lines look too good. Miami does have "revenge" here but I just don't know if they really give a crap or are just on cruise control until the playoffs. It'd be nice to see this MIA team play up to its potential every once in a while, was very disappointed to see them get stomped by BOS on the road like two weekends ago. Has MIA changed anything since that game? BOS might be rejuvenated right now.
3. Bobcats/Cavs zzzzz
4. 76ers laying wood on the road despite having a 40% straight up winning percentage on the road? No thank you. On the other hand, New Jersey is so frustrating for me, they roll over when I expect them to show up (i.e. against the Jazz at home a few weeks ago) and then they play like gangbusters when I think they should be faded. Them and the LAC have killed me this year. Sixers are coming off of a really bad stretch of basketball losing 5 of their last 6 SU, including games to mighty TOR and WAS. I'm not running to get in line to back PHI laying points on the road right now.
5. This CHI/NYK line is really interesting, clearly set up to entice bettors to believe that CHI blows out NYK tonight. I wonder though that if NYK hasn't figured the Bulls out. I'm really surprised more teams haven't done this, but it should be obvious by now -- take a long/fast wing defender, stick him on Rose, and watch the Bulls die. Shumpert did it, LeBron did it (and will do it against in the ECF) -- every team has one long wing defender who they should bring in to fluster Rose. I think I lean catching the points here in what should be another close game.
Anyone else have thoughts about today's card?

Someone said that Rose MIGHT not play tonight. Not sure if that is true or not and if it is true, it really doesn't matter. They have a better PG on the bench .
I hate how the Knicks are not home tonight, I think that hurts them a little bit. But I don't see the Celtics AND Knicks both getting blown out. If it happens, I only see one of them loosing like that. In all honestly, both of them should play HARD tonight. They had some rest, they are battling for a playoff spots.
The 76ers have been going DOWNNNNN. Do they FINALLY wake up tonight? I honestly have no idea. The Nets didn't play that well last game against a very beat us Cavs team. The 76ers NEED a win. I would go with the 76ers here. 4 teams battling for 2 playoff spots, the 76ers being one of them.
I've been telling my friends that I think the 76ers will drop out of playoff contention, and the Bucks will make it along with the Knicks. Lets see if the Sixers can change that up, starting tonight.

Boston is a 4 seed right now, but they still need to win if they want homecourt advantage in the playoffs. Their defense is rolling right now. Their rotation seems to be set and everyone knows and is comfortable with their role. Even Ray Allen.
Not sure what Miami has to play for or why they should get up for this game. I think the "revenge angle" is something the media and gamblers hype up WAY more than the actual players do.
Let's go Darwin

Yes i have a thought or two i do think the best game on tonite will be the CHI/NY but... and you must understand that Rose was back for the first time the other nite and they had that game won. Now there is no way you can defend a great shot just impossible... I am willing to bet you that Carmelo has no more that 20pts tonight against the Bulls and it will be a blow out!!!

Actually, a big fan of the OVER here if D-12 ends up not playing. The Magic play at a much faster pace without him and Washington is a team that pushes pushes pushes.

Since the March 15 Nene trade, Washington has had 11 straight unders and 5 straight overs. They may have picked up the pace recently but they have trouble breaking 100 -- in fact, they only have done it twice offensively since March 15, and that was last night against CHA, not exactly defensive stalwarts, and on the road against NJ. With D-12 playing, ORL is one of the better defensive teams in the league.

The thing that makes me go "hmmmm" now about NYK is that they can throw out a really pretty solid defensive unit now: Chandler, Jeffries, Melo (only bad defender), Fields, and Shumpert. Let Melo handle the ball on offense and run/initiate the offense and surround him by four hustle guys who are long and play hard on defense. That's an interesting nut to try to crack if you ask me and might be a recipe for success for NYK.
