Live Bet Question

Are Live bet odds based off of the original Full Game odds that are plugged into an algorithm and fluxuate based on score?

 

Or are these live odds controlled by a person?

Not saying scripted or fixed...

But this is odd...

 

2nd quarter BLAZERS (HOME TEAM FAVS) UP BY 7 POINTS WITH THE BALL DURING COMMERCIAL BREAK) 
 
....live line is +/- 2.5
....Denver was +113
.....Portland was -142
 
I wrote it down next to me because i thought it was just fishy and I wanted to see the outcome.
 
I'm no mathematician but Portand should have been AT LEAST -7 live...no? Given they are -3 Favs to start?
 
Fast Forward to 4th Q..
 
7:19 left 91-87 (Blazers down 3 TV TIMEOUT...MCCOLLUM SHOOTING 2 after commercial which could make it a potential 1 point game)
 
...live line is Portland +3.5
....live line is Nuggets -258
 
Again im no mathematician... but the original game odds and those odds seem a bit off to me given the scores/situation
 
I just happened to refresh these odds at these given times so I did not monitor them full game so I am not sure how they were fluxating during the entirety of the game but when I checked they seemed to be very fishy.

I saw Portland +7.5 in the third when they were down 10, stormed back

Live line always fishy I saw over 215 for awhile, 5 minutes left in game it was still 215 I hammered the garbage to go over..books vary, my book totals a bit slower and softer than my spread lines

Something was so unbelievably scripted in tonight's game.

The O/U for the 3rd quarter was 51.5, lower than the 1st and 2nd quarter.

In the last three games, the third quarter was 57, 62 and 57. Tonight they both scored 41?? Historically the 2nd quarter has been the lowest scoring quarter. 

Now tell me someone doesn't know something, there was absolutely no reason that the total was so low (51.5) for that quarter.

its all algorithm controlled. if it were one person that person would be locked up in a suite somewhere

nba is a game of runs as in the evening game. i put in a live ml play -125. by the next game stoppage it fluctuated to +160  as Nuggs went on a run.

Yeah I got Denver +6 in the 1st quarter....

game of runs should've gotten denver +6.5 portland +6.5 so nothing to lose except the spread lol

I just hate when a team cant come back from a run. But port/den and gs/rox seem to keep it close no matter the run

I followed that game live on multiple sites the whole game, and when Portland was up 7 in the 2nd quarter, I didn't see anything remotely close to Portland -2.5. I saw things like Portland -6.5. Think you might have had a site with a glitch. Would you share what site you saw this -2.5 in Q2 with Portland up 7?

Live line differs from time to time.. specially of when you're looking/observing.. though, it's based on the pre-match;however, it'll be affected with what's actually going on in the game. although that 2nd qrt part is quite fishy, unless you have a proof it doesn't exist to me.

not a chance that live line was -2.5 t that time.  and if it was at some site it was a bad line, bet would most likely be void either way.

when portland was up 7 in 1Q they were -7 Live not -2.5.

 

when portland was down by 3 during a tv timeout with the ball and mccollum shooting FT to possibly tie the game Live line was Portland +2.5

it was indeed 2.5...i saw it with my own eyes and was going to SLAM nuggets as a +2.5 line is only +113? sketchy

I legit wrote it down on a dirty paper towel right next to me because i thought it was fishy.

who knows.......
