Who actually expected Lin to carve up the Miami Heat defense the way he was carving up Toronto and Minnesota? Honestly.....
The guy got nervous. He'd never seen so many ballhawkers coming at him at once. He even admitted he never had that much trouble just dribbling the ball.
I was never caught up in the Linsanity hype. But I do believe he is a gamer. I don't consider him this "great" player, but he seems to be what the Knicks need at the 1. Whoelse is going to run the show? BDiddy???

It isn't Lin's fault that ESPN has attached their wagon to him and just fanned the flames.
Miami has been playing lights out and can't even get any run on ESPN. I think they basically wanted to shove all of it in their and the public's face. They know that there is no way that he could keep it up. He's a twig. They wanted to put an explanation point on that last night.
Let him be an NBA player and try and improve his game. Even top 10 rookies struggle a LOT in their first year.
But you know teams are just going to try to suffocate him from here on out. Very easy could shatter his confidence and he might never pan out to even be a reasonable player. You just never know. But let him just be a player. Enough already.

yes you are 100% correct... we seen the same thing i the NFL season with tebow... america loves the underdog or something out of the ordinary.. it seems to me that these players are more a STORY than a sensation... gotta love the media they make us believe anything
