Alright I built a simple trend analysis graph that shows around 20 statistics for every team. You can also put multiple teams/stats on the same graph for comparisons.
check it out and let me know what you think and any recommendations for other graphs or statistics you might want

JDodds - Good stuff. I'm a big believer in data and having a reason WHY when you make a choice. I have found in the NBA if you used the individual (team) stats and simply compare them to another team it still difficult to consistently pick winners. For example, NBA teams usually have a +/- assist to turn over ratio and basing your decision on .8 of difference doesn't pan out. You can add in the other key stats which may help but including the opening lines and power ratings and schedule strength help big time in the NBA. A few questions for ya:
1. Do you have a similar tool for college basketball?
2. Anyway to implement the opening line in your tool?
3. Anyway to include ratings and Schedule strength?
Great stuff and wish you all the best.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm trying to get information like this so we can further build out the platform. The platform is brand new so although we don't have too many features at the moment, this type of feedback is what helps us grow and expand. We really want to add features that will be useful for handicappers.
1) No, but we can certainly build it
2) We can do that, how would you ideally see this be implemented?
3) yes! How would you want to view ratings and Strength of Schedule and that impact your decisions when looking at the data?

Great Tool. I think when running these number a Handicapper would also have to look the composition of the Team during the time this is being run. Because these number obviously correlate to individuals that are in the lineup. That may be a difficult feature to include due to the number of players in the league but just my thoughts.
