Sup gents, my apologies for the late post. Got a few I like on this large Friday slate. Got my lines last night except for the SAS ML. Strongest play of the month goes tonight. Hoping for a profitable Friday guys. As always wishing you all the best of luck, no matter what side you are on. Peace - - - MAK
SAN ANTONIO SPURS MONEYLINE (-115) - - - My P.O.M goes with the Spurs tonight in Texas. Don't get me wrong I love the way Houston plays but the fact of the matter is it seems as if teams have their number now. It is only a matter of time before NBA teams scout the Rockets and understand the intricacies of their success. After a strong start out of the gates surprising team after team with their free flow offense, now teams understand what is needed in order to stop the Rockets. It is clearly evident after losing their last 3 covers at home. They are giving up way too many points and despite having an explosive offense, the defense is atrocious and will cause them to slip unless they get shit on track. The Spurs on the other hand are back on track. Since Tony has returned this team is 3-0 SU and ATS with some impressive blowout victories. Parker is an all-star point guard and a lot of people underestimate the overall impact he has on the offensive flow of the Spurs. The Big Fundamental will own whoever is on him. Historically he has not done well against the Yaoster but with the 7'6 behemoth out of the way he should make mince meat out of Scola, Landry & Hayes. The Spurs are deeper and better then Houston, they are rested, poised and have one of the best scouting staffs in the NBA, they will have Houston number tonight.

NEW JERSEY NETS + 6.5 (-115) - - - Oh my oh my this is it. It's not everyday you see a team at 0-15 that has such an important game in front of them. I mean this is like the Championship for the Nets. It is the closest thing they will come to a game with high implications. If they loose against the Kings they know that they will be forever embedded into the NBA record books as the worst start in NBA history. This is their only chance cause they know they are gonna get fucked by Showtime on the 29th and not much of a chance coming home to face the Mavs and the Cats. I for one do not think the Nets will end up with the worst record in ball at the end of the season. I have never seen a team so bad play such decent defense. They cause teams to play bad. They should have won the first game at Minny and should have had that game against Miami. They have a decent enough linup to get it done tonight and match up very well with Sac. Guard play will be key. If Rafer stops shooting and stricly becomes a playmaker it will work. Lee will get more time. Devin will shoot a lit and CDR is a stud and a very underrated one on one player. They key tonight is Big Brook Bubba Lopez. I believe he will get over 20 shots and make a majority of them. I think he will cause Spencer a lot of problems. Beno may not play and Tont Battie may make his first appearance which would be awesome. The Nets have enough solid pro's to get it done tonight. I just think this is as must win as any game I have seen in a regular season, the team knows, the staff knows, it is now or never. Nets win straight up.

TORONTO RAPTORS + 12.5 (-130) - - - Sigh....it was one of the worst losses I have seen in quite some time as a Raps fan. It is unacceptable to have that type of defeat when this team has clearly proven they have what it takes to compete. It is sad that they got embarrassed in Charlotte but I do see them having some pride and giving it their all tonight. The bench will be key to the cover tonight. Marco, Jack and Amir are a solid 6, 7, 8 rotation. But tonight to stay close to the Celts even the 9-11 men have to contribute. Antoine Wright has to play that stellar defense he is capable of playing. Rasho has to provide solid minutes with a few put backs and defense on Perk. If Pops and Weems can provide anything that would be great. Turk never played really well against Boston but he has not been contributing and I look for him to be agressive tonight. Bosh usually gets owned by Sheed and KG but with an extra 20 pounds of muscle and off a shameful loss I see him to show up. Raps keep it close in B Town.

WASHINGTON WIZARDS + 7 (-110) - - - I just added this play in the evening. It was not on my initial card and the only reason I added this game is due to the ridiculous line movement. I had the opportunity last night to grab MIA at PK. At that point I could not cap the game, I actually leaned Washington to win but thought it was way to close to add to the card. Then today I see it at + 7?? No injuries....I don't really understand that if anyone could shed some light it would be nice. Never really seen that happen before. Nevertheless with Jammy, Caron, Zero, Haywood and Blatche playing at a high level, I don't see how Miami can beat this team yet again. It is very hard for any NBA team to consecutively beat a team 3 times in a span of less then a month. I suspect a poised and determined Wiz team to keep it close and maybe come out with an upset win.

MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES + 10 (-110) - - - Wow, I think this may be my first wager on the Tims is over a year. They have been horrid and are my team to end up with the lottery pick or at least the worst record in ball. Nevertheless I like them to cover tonight at home. They just matchup well vs the Suns. Sometimes with teams the talent is a deceptive attribute because it cannot be measured against another team. Flynn and Sessions are fast enough to stay on Nash but they can't stop his incredible passing ability, no one can. Corey brewer is a very very underrated defensive player. Put him on the Raps at the 2 spot and you would have a much better team. He will lock down J Rich and I suspect Corey to have a good offensive game as well. Ryan Gomes always lights up the Suns and loves that free flow offense. Al Jefferson actually looks like he is getting back to his normal self. I still think losing all that weight was not smart but he does look more agile. Dudley and Amundson do not matchup well with Minny's wings. Channing Frye will be held my long athletic biog man Ryan Hollins. I just do not see a Suns blowout here.
