Phoenix scared the crap out of me last night. After building a 23-point lead in the 3rd quarter, I had to lean on made free throws under 5 seconds to go, so the meaningless three that has blown several spreads for me, did not matter. PHEWWW
On to tonight...
CLEVELAND -4 @ NY KNICKS-
Good value here. LeBron in the Garden, and the Knicks are the Knicks. Only the Knicks can pull off being outscored 10-0 at home in the final 2 minutes to hand the cover to the Hornets. LeBron has monster games in NY, and hopefully he is auditioning for his future team. Wont hold my breath on that, but I will lay the 4.
UNDER 191 CLE/NYK-
Knicks have been offensively challenged all year. Especially since Isiah feels a line-up of Balkman, Jefferies, Collins, and Lee on the floor together will provide enough firepower to light the scoreboard. Knicks cant score, Cavs can defend, and besides LeBron, I am not worried about the Cavs getting nuts. I could see a 94-85 style game here tonight
PHOENIX +5.5 @ DENVER-
Denver is thin on the interior, literally. K-Mart, and Camby probably weigh as much as Shaq together soaking wet. Add Amare (who is having MONSTER games since the trade), and Phoenix really did play well last night, but they got sloppy the last 1.5 quarters. That was a big win last night for the Suns, let's see if they can roll a couple off. Tough game for the Suns, but I think they can keep it within one possession, with a chance to pull the SU win.

I will prolly take the 5.5, but Shaq will weigh alot more at altitude late in the game after a Back to Back.I don't see him as a factor at all. And look for Karl to bust out the hack a Shaq, he still can't make a freethrow to save his ass.

I think Shaq is always a factor, good or bad. Remember that Phoenix is one of the best conditioned teams in the league. D'Antoni is known to have practices that are high intensity, and short in duration. I dont think their legs will be a problem from playing yesterday, or affected by the altitude.

No, in the post 3 up you said "make that 7" and i was curious when you posted the play at the top if you had bet it at 5.5. I mean what happens if the win by 6? Are you going to claim victory? If so, would you have kept the 5.5 if it went down to 5. Not a very hard question.

TD - suffered for 3 qtrs with the Lakers last nite too & was goin in the opposite direction as you in the 4th. But we both got 'em & that's all that matters. Lean to that under but leavin the others alone. GL tonite!||thumbs_up.gif' border=0>

I locked the Cavs and the Under in when I first saw the line, because I knew if the line moved, it would not have been in my favor. Phoenix was +5.5 when I first posted, but I was unsure which way the line was going to move. If it went down to +5, then I would have locked it in for the fear it would have gone down more. The next time I checked after the 5.5 the line skyrocketed to 7, so I am happy I waited.
Usually I go off my posted spread. If that line goes the other way, then I have to make the argument "do I still like it" but in this situation, I dont need to make that argument because IF I LIKE IT AT 5.5, OF COURSE I LIKE IT AT 7. Its pretty obvious...
And I dont feel the need to "claim" victory on a Wagerline forum. The ONLY thing that matters is the balance of my bank roll. I am bantering, and giving my honest opinion on how I see a partcular NBA game will, or will not go. Take it with a grain of salt.
From now on I will make sure to point out if I "locked" that number in so there is no further confusion

1-2, and was wayyy off on the 2. I knew my Cavs over was over after the first quarter. Suns looked good after 1 quarter, but they can defend my grandmama from getting into the paint. +5.5 or +7 didn't even come close to mattering, even though Phoenix would cut it to 8, then next thing you know it was 18. Phoenix is in DEEP doo-doo. Congrats to all Nuggie backers, you deserved that one.
