One basket away from being 3-1 but that's the NBA and it's a season long grind. We were competitive in all four games, that's all we can ask for.
Lakers -2.5
I don't do a ton of write ups on the Lakers but I really like them in this spot, at home against a below average Nets team.
The Lakers lost a nail biter at the buzzer in Portland against arguably the most lethal back court in the league. They actually had more field goals than Portland while only shooting 22% from the 3 point line and still had a chance to win the game.
This is a great chance for Lonzo to come out and show people what he's capable of. At home versus the Nets in what should be an entertaining, fast paced game; can there be any better game to come back home to? I like there to be a lot of positive energy in the Staples Center tonight and it will be interesting to see how the traded guys play as I'm sure they'll have a little extra motivation playing against their former teams.
Not only are the Lakers superior on defense but their big advantage will be in the paint where they're #1 in the NBA scoring more than 53% of their points there.
Overall, this is just a bad match up for the Nets. If the Lakers are patient enough to work the paint and post up Lopez, as long as Caldwell Pope doesn't go 0-15 , I like the Lakers in this one by 10.

This is a battle between the two top defenses in the league.
It's an interesting match up, and something's gotta give somewhere. I don't believe this will be a game where strength will be tested against strength. If it is, I believe Boston has the upper hand because they're more athletic.
The Thunder are dangerous when Russell is getting out in transition and distributing the ball. Forcing Boston's athletic wings into making a decision to come help or guard is what's going to free up guys like George and Melo, plus he always has Adams, who's one of the best running big men in the league.
Bostons so tough because they not only have a dynamic point guard, but also have athletic guys who can not only run the floor, but have the ability to drive and create.
With Melo and Horford both being stretch 4s, the middle is going to be open all day for two of the best driving PGs the league has ever seen.
I think the match up, despite the great defenses leads to some points and I expect this one to play past 210.

im with you on lakers. They are alot better then their record.
BOL
Thanks you too and yes, not only that but with Magic involved and the amount of young talent they have, they're finally a team feeling like they have direction and purpose. This would be a terrible game for the Lakers to lose at this specific moment in time.
There's no direction for the Nets and it's basically play because it's your job and win or lose it doesn't matter.
As long as the Lakers don't fall in love with the three, and defend it, the Nets don't have much of a chance.

The Bulls have no advantage in this game. A season ago I wouldn't even think about giving 8 due to Orlando's inconsistency and lack of being able to play a full game. That is entirely not the case this season as they've been extremely efficient on not only the offensive, but defensive side of the floor the entire game.
They're not only the best three point shooting team this season, but they're the best three point defending team. The three ball has proven itself to be a game changer in this league and tonight should be another display of how much it matters.
Chicago simply does not have the scoring threats to be able to sustain themselves in this one. They're almost at the bottom of the barrel in FTA per game as well as 3P% per game.
The Magic are playing with a lot of confidence right now and have been very good at home versus a win less road Bulls team.

So many good games today, feel like laying 7 bets or something
I know.
Besides my write ups, I use a few other sources where I take what only the data tells me to bet. The bets are a little smaller just because there's more volume.
It's been real solid in over unders. Tonight it's got the Lakers under, Thunder over, and Pelicans under. Food for thought if you're looking to add some games.
