Hi guys, I have a MLB thread, and just starting my NBA thread. I don't play a lot of post season basketball but I do find great lines from time to time and will play them. Typically lines in the playoffs are far sharper than the regular season due to allocation of line setters by LVSC.
Tonight's Play: TOR@CLE, TORONTO +7.5 FIRST HALF (-110)
Writeup:
Is Cleveland the better team? Yes, of course. There seems to be two sides to the rusty/tired coin. You could say the Raptors are tired, or you could say that Cleveland is rusty. Either may be true, but the bottom line is it comes down to matchups in the playoffs.
The Raptors do matchup well vs. Cleveland. Carroll will do a good job at defending James. James will get his points, but will also dish off passes to team mates for the 3's a lot more with a pestering Carroll in his face.
Toronto's strength in this game will be their coaching. They will NOT double team James. Cleveland will waste a lot of chances shooting for 3s in the first half being a lot better guarded then they were the past 2 series. Cleveland will jog through the first half stretching their arms and legs. They will drain some, but get their fair share of missed 3s. Toronto will do a good job of countering with some fast break points and keep it close.
The best bet for this game by far is Toronto +7.5. FIRST HALF.
Cheers and good luck.
