Knicks -5(bought the hook) This will be a tough series for both teams. Pacers struggles on the road against a depleted Bucks team, I expect that to continue today. I think this will be another good series to watch.
Wolves +8 @-140 - So the Nuggets give 5 in game 1, lose outright, and now for game 2 people say this is a must win and so you give more points than game 1. And for everyone this makes sense? Wolves are better than the Nuggets.

This is standard oddsmaking for the NBA playoffs. Barring injury, a Game 1 home favorite that loses will always be made a slightly larger favorite in Game 2 than they were in Game 1. Nuggets opened -4 for Game 1, so they opened -5 for Game 2.

completely understand what you are saying and make sense. Peoples misunderstanding and perspective has pushed this line to 6.5/7. Just mind blowing for me.

You guys are correct that the birth happened. Supposedly there might be difficulties making it back to Denver in time. In no way can I see him not playing.

Knicks crowd just into this game like they were with Philly. Knicks need some kind of energy injected into them or they will lose game 1. Bench play and rebounds have been big for Indy and only up 4 at half. Don't get crazy everyone on this game. Let's see how this plays out and analyze for the rest of the series. Tom has been great with adjustments. Hoping he can figure this out.

Next man up mentality. Let's go Ant man, the son of Michael Jordan. Your dad would never make any excuses. Be better than your brother Jimmy Butler. Sorry reading these stories true or not crack me up.

I bet the Nuggets -5 yesterday and I just doubled my bet with -6.5. I don’t expect that the Star Player Suddenly Out angle will aid the T-Wolves cause tonight. That angle depends on complacency creeping into the opponent upon learning the news of the opponent’s absent star player, but when you’re a Game 2 home team that allowed 71% shooting in the 2nd half of a Game 1 upset loss, there is no slacking.

I'm not sure Gobert is worth 2.5-3 points. Denver has only loss BTB games at home once all year. Funny that the Timberwolves did it 111 -98 March 29th. Now that game last month Murray was out. But so was Towns out. Gobert had a big game that day. Jokic had a average Jokic day. If that game says anything it is that the Timberwolves can get it done without 1 big.

Joker does way too much crying and complaining about calls. I have a feeling refs are getting tired of listening to him and will soon begin to ignore him. Just watch how many petty calls he wants every time. Playoffs is different these refs are letting them play more.
