It&#x27;s only happened 14 times where a player was a champion and league mvp the same year. Doesn&#x27;t necessarily mean a player has to reach the finals r be champion to win

&#xA;The vote has already happened. It&#x27;s a regular season award. They vote at the end of the regular season. Ballots were cast weeks ago. The playoffs don&#x27;t affect the results.
