Not claiming to be an amazing capper or guaranteeing anything, but just my thoughts...
Rockets have the opportunity to come back from 3-1 down, a rare accomplishment.
They are coming HOME after stealing game 6 which looked all but over.
They have a very versatile and athletic team, especially with Ariza, Brewer and Smith providing a heap of athleticism and energy. ENERGY being the key word, which is a huge difference maker.
I feel like the Clippers will be mentally scarred after their collapse. Meanwhile, Houston will be playing with house money and this may help with relaxing and not crumbling under the pressure of a game 7.
But my main point is that Houston's best player didn't even contribute to that massive comeback. If I'm the best player on my team and my supporting cast has just given me the opportunity to play another game, I'm doing EVERYTHING I can to repay them for their efforts and put up a massive performance.
I think the Rockets now have the confidence to put away this Clippers team and the "superstars don't play 2 stinkers in a row" angle really appeals to me. Also, if their 3's go down they could put Clippers away early. If Rockets are underdogs I'm taking the generous ML bet @ home!

Yes, it sounds good, you applied your common sense to the situation. Here's the problem, your against everything history should of taught you.............Clippers win game 7.
History says the home team is more likely to win game 7, no?
Also too much weight on history is ignorant.
Show me where in history a team came back from 19 down WITHOUT its best player on the ROAD.

RARE ACCOMPLISHMENT IS CORRECT !!! IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN, IT HAS ONLY BEEN DONE 8 TIMES BEING DOWN 3-1). YOU'VE MADE SOME INTERSTING POINTS BUT CAN THEY BEAT THEM 3 IN A ROW

Actually if it wasn't for Coach Mac decision to Hack-a-crap that killed Houston's momentum when they were up by like 5..when James Harden feeling it..where they went up then after that when they fouled DeAndre..where he shot like 4 freethrows then Clippers suddenly have momentum on their side where they went like 8-0 run...Houston should've beaten them like the last game but need to go through a needle to win this up..but on the positive side...they crushed clippers hope this time...cause after that game..there's just no reason to hang your head up...no one...you beat yourselves with running up the clock...a sign of being too overconfident is not a championship caliber team mentality...and there's no way...they deserved this series more than the Rockets...
