Tonight's Grizzlies/Spurs match up pivots two teams seemingly in total opposite directions. The Spurs have one of the deepest teams in the NBA while Memphis is a spit and glue team with their starters holding the fort together. And Hold it together they have. The Spurs should be making Memphis look like a redheaded step child but certain things many common bettors overlook.
Memphis has the right recipe to beat the Spurs. This has been apparent over the past few games they've played. Kawai Leonard is putting up career numbers in this series and yet they are tied 2-2. Why? What's the focal point? Simply, the Spurs have absolutely no answer for Conley. He has figured out the rotation of the ball and his team has figured out how to give it back to him. Gasol has been hard to deal with in the paint and Randolph is a player who can backup all positions. The Spurs are in trouble in this series because Memphis is hot right now, and above all playing with serious confidence. I see many of you on here taking the Spurs to bounce back at home and take Memphis to the wood shed. Don't let your imagination run away with you. Take the games as they come. Memphis has found a weakness in San Antonio and it starts with KL. If nobody else steps up and backs him up the Spurs are in trouble. And i don't see it happening tonight with how hot Memphis has been and going into this game is going to be very difficult for the Spurs to win let alone cover the Spread. So here it is guys.

Was leaning grizz too until I saw that you picked Cavs to win by 20+ in that circus of a game at Atlanta that went to double overtime a few weeks ago. Might have to fade and go with the public on the spurs here

Yes i was on Cleveland big and i lost. It happens. I have never predicted guaranteed outcomes, and God knows I'm not always right. But i can assure you I'm right more than i am wrong with Sports wagering. You'll see tonight. But good luck either way you go.

Please don't come back complaining how the Spurs got all the calls and the Grizzlies got jobbed by the refs. Grizzlies could possibly cover but they are not winning SU. Expect Spurs to get some home cooking. If you like Memphis this much you best be taking the under as well. Only chance they have to win is by mucking the game up and playing physical.
Also has Pop ever lost 3 straight playoff games. There are also some great trends with pop and the spurs when tied 2-2 with the Spurs winning.

I mean I agree 100% on the confidence factor making a case for the grizz cover tonight, but remember Ginobili hasn't made a single shot in this series. He's due for a big game and the Grizz have had the luxury of letting him take jumpers because it hasn't been falling for him. If he comes out making his shot tonight, expect the grizzlies to fall apart on the defensive end early because it'll take pressure off Leonard and Aldridge inside.

I don't mind him taking the points here, but if you watched the last few games (as I have) the refs were allowing the Grizz to play football/rugby against the Spurs. I very much doubt they allow that to continue (it makes no sense to me because the Grizz, even more than the Spurs, are TV ratings killers). Besides, the Grizz always do this, and the NBA allows them to: they start playing physical, get themselves into a series, and then the NBA pulls the plug. It happened against OKC a few years back (when Grizz were up 2-1, then 3-2), it happened against the Warriors (when they were up 2-1), and now the Spurs. Grizz getting through to the 2nd round will send the NBA back to the stone ages of basketball (i.e., the 90's) and nobody wants to see that.

That's pretty much the x factor. Nobody is backing up KL whereas Memphis is playing as a team. If the Spurs start making shots and Memphis can't adjust this one is over...
My money is on the likliness that it won't happen. But that's why it's called gambling
