I said it before the series there was no way Jason Kidd would out coach literally anyone with a pulse in the finals and my Celtics future was as good as cashed.

Really kicking myself I tried to get cute and bet Dallas tonight after I had Boston the other 2 games as well as the future ticket.

Right after he did that Luka fouled out. And he was only on 4 fouls! It was 93-90 and they got 3 stops and couldn't score it was only the 4th stop - after Luka got tossed, that Kyrie cut it to 93-92.

So it's not like his timeout helped at all, they didn't get anything out of it other than the immediately lost their best player.

Those refs are obviously not Doncic fans, he got hardly any calls and then as soon as Dallas was threatening a massive comeback they call back to back fouls on him. I can't believe it. Maybe they thought the +3 was a gift like some on here did. Overall very noticeable lack of whistles.

Boston wasn't even out of 2nd gear that game, they're gonna be champs by the end of the week.

Another bad mistake by Kidd was early in the game it was 25-12 and it was like he thought the game was well in hand already, sat Luka and right away Boston came back and they got outscored 18-6 the rest of the quarter. If they had pushed that lead out farther they might have been able to withstand that awful 3rd quarter. But as soon as Boston got back in it they perked up.

Anyway just annoyed I got greedy AND faded the team I have been saying since the playoffs started would win it all..most made 3s in the NBA. That's the stat that decides the winner. And again tonight it was only one team could hit the 3 with any consistency.

Jason Kidd is never winning a championship as a coach. Star players never make good coaches. Even if they wear glasses to try and look smart. The dumb jock stereotype exists for a reason.

The West was weird this season. For the top seed to lose to these clowns, and the top defensive team to lose to them after beating the reigning champs, is very odd when you not only look at this series but the first one where they seemed to be only marginally better than a mediocre Clippers team. And I don't know how Denver lost to Minnesota either the whole conference must have just sucked.

Jason Kidd what the fckkkkk. Didn’t help that Kleber and Tim hardaway jr couldn’t hit the backside of a barn . -16 and -13 between those to . Gotta give the Celtics their flowers respectfully though . Wonder if Denver or Minnesota wouldn’t gave Boston a better run. Not that it matters but styles makes fights and I’m surprised Dallas guard dominant style got them this far .

Oh definitely. I always thought Boston would handle the series and laughed at anyone who thought Dallas would take the finals but i thought it would go a little longer. I knew the Celtics were much better than Minnesota with way more savvy guards. But yeah I do think Minnesota or Denver would at least win a game. Probably OKC would have too. Dallas lack of bigs that can score and lack of a 3rd option overall is getting exposed.

I was kinda surprised Dallas was favored even at home. Before I made the play I was expecting them to be a dog. Maybe them being favorites gave me too much confidence. KP being out didn't matter because they just play too good overall defence. So many times Dallas drove into the paint and just didn't know what to do, was too afraid to go up with it, passing it outside and this series the 3s have not fallen.

Dallas is just streaky. Boston is consistent. Everything Dallas shot last series went in, now the shots are going halfway down and still rimming out. The Wolves were a step slow on all their defense, turns out when you actually aren't putting slow 7 footers on fat boy Luka he finds life a little harder.

 Your not bullshitting here, I had Boston sec. half and texting with Friend wrote,  looks like Dallas is going to get me here, next couple secs Kidd TO. Do not know why or sure can not think of reason why, but he saved Boston bets maybe. For sure after TO Dallas did not look the same and then foul on Luka.

 Jrue Holliday and Derrik white were such good additions . Glad to see Tatum and brown one win away from winning the whole thing . Seems like they’ve been knocking on the door every year and come up just shy . Also Al Hordford at the age of 64 about to win his first ring . Taking a break till football season because for some reason baseball has always been brutal to me . I should have a large bankroll come September 

Kleber playing in this series is hilarious.  This guy is the worst player by far to see run from either team.  The stuffed 3, and then have him fumble it out of bounds after was the epitome of the loser play this loser is.  If he doesn’t see the court in games 2 and 3 Dallas might be up 2-1 instead of down 3-0.  

Luka only had 2 fouls at the start of the 4th quarter. No other star would ever get 4 fouls called on them like that in only half of the last quarter.

Very telling they were in the middle of a big run too and about to cut it to 1 or tire it.

I think the refs are tired of his whining and/or thought the +3 was too good to pass up. Very Donaghy like especially falling for that flop on the 6th foul.

The reason it sticks out even more is there wasn't many whistles all game, then that happened. Oh well, I had been saying for a while he is the most overrated player in the NBA.. they've been targeting him on defense anf apparently getting blown by on drives at a higher rate than ever in playoff history or something crazy like 67%.

The Celtics made Luka work on both ends and Luka has been worn down in the 4th quarter...
