frigid night tonight on the east coast. mid-20s down here in Charlotte. have to think the crowd will be less than enthused for a Weds night matchup at twc arena. bit of a rivalry game too as NO was awarded the Hornets for those few years there. Charlotte cant score without Big Al. Kemba can only do so much. ranked 25th in the league in ppg coming in. they've only scored over 100 in 1 of the last 7 games and that was against no-defense-Boston. NO has the size with AD and Asik to defend the paint and make Charlotte take jumpers. Pelicans 7-2-1 unders last 10 games. Eric Gordon back but he is rusty, 2-8 shooting last game. feels like a 95-90 type game. slight lean on Peli's -3.5/-4 as well.
revenge spot for the Thunder tonight in Sactown after GS blew them out. Thunder 12 wins in a row vs Kings. Thunder 14-6 su last 6 weeks including a 104-92 win over Sac on 12/16. the recent trade has no ill effects on tonights game and can only help, maybe Dion gets a little burn and hits some jumpers. seems like a positive for the Thunder, adding a nice, young player who will come off the bench to help the 2nd unit. Steven Adams injury might be a little bit of a negative, but hoping he suits up to help bang around Demarcus. outside of him and Gay their scoring comes from the erratic Mclemore and steady Collison. DC will have his hands full tonight vs Westbrook. dont really see them keeping the pace and think OKC pulls away, a 105-95 type game.
