Anybody watch the last Pistons game where Killian Hayes was on the line to tie the game and he looked over at the bench and afterwards made a frustrated facial expression before shooting his free throws? Then the camera panned in on the coaches who were whispering something to each other? I'm 99% sure orders came down from the brass for Hayes to intentionally miss the FT, which he did, as it was short off the front of the rim. Detroit is tanking. They want the top pick. If that isn't enough for you, Jerami Grant will sit once again with phantom knee soreness, Mason Plumlee is resting again and Josh Jackson will sit with a sore tooth. This leaves a bunch of players with no chemistry getting big minutes. We should see a full effort out of the Grizzlies tonight as they're fighting for playoff position. Lastly, the Grizz have beaten the Pistons by double digits in the last three matchups, so that's a nice vote of confidence.
Good Luck!
