$$$$$$$ NBA: Am I a HOMER?

No I don't mean Homer Simpson, I mean one who can't see his hometown sportsteams in the right perspective.

My POD today is the Cavs -11.5 because I believe the lead will be around 20 when they stop pounding on the Bulls (tired fists and arms). This is the playoffs,  not regular season. The idea is to punch out your opponent physically and mentally. Make them quit in their own minds. Cavs got defense and too many offensive options. Bulls will go as their outside shooting goes...no fast break points. period.

I'm going 2.5 units here and this game is the only thing happening today.  (well...not counting my daily-doubles and my partner's baseball picks and maybe a shekel or two on the Denver game.)

Unofficial also likes Hawks-8.5  over my beloved Bucks and Celtics -4 over the Heat.

All told folks, a very good day for favorites and home teams.

You know this is music to my ears. Lebron has the leadership qualities to put  on the shoulders of others.

I don't want anything that looks like a fair fight. I want the linemakers to think about making the Cavs -15 in the next game.

My bobcats are going to shock alot of sleeping people this playoffs. TRUST ME. And I love how we are under the rader. People dont see how we have an OVERALL playoff TEAM..We have 4-5 tru bigs. Magic is going to get tossed 1st round

Cavs can't cover 11.5. That's all I've heard. That's all I've read. People when you think of the NBA, TURN THE TV OFF!

 It is the job of the sports media to make games seem like they are going too be closer than they turn out to be.

For instance, did you notice the Magic the last two weeks of the season. They were double digit smack down on everybody they faced. My point: double-digit spreads do get covered. As a matter of betting instincts: take the points. But after the instincts have cooled, look that big spread over carefully.
