Oh what prisoners of the moment you all are. Yes GS won game 2. GS was the team with their backs against the wall in game 2 and played like such. Celtics, for as good as they’ve been, have proven they struggle to wheel off consecutive wins. They are now 3-7 following a win these playoffs.
On the flip side, Boston have shown time and time again throughout these playoffs that they are able to bounce back from losses every single time. To think GS wins the next 3 in a row, which I’ve seen in a number of posts, shows a disconnect from reality.
Saying the Celtics only won game 1 because of a lucky stretch of shooting in the 4th quarter is also a crutch argument. GS only won game 2 then because of a lucky stretch of shooting in the 3rd then right? In reality, Boston dominated game 1 in quality of possessions and quality of shots per @ShotQuality on Twitter.
Boston -3.5 for game 3 is one of the biggest gifts of these playoffs thus far.
Celtics have not lost B2B games since 3/28/22.
Celtics are 6-0 following a loss these playoffs.
Celtics are 12-1 in their last 13 after a loss.
Now I will wait for referee assignments for this game to determine unit size. Will report back.

Since the 2003 NBA Playoffs, when teams are coming off a Home win of 15+ points or more in the previous playoff game but are playing as an Away Underdog in the next game:
SU: 40-95 (29.6%) ATS: 60-74-1 (44.8%)

I would follow Robert Williams' status before locking in. If he is a go and even 70-80%, I think the Celtics are a go. If he is not, I'm not saying alter your side. Just maybe alter units.

I have been telling anyone who will listen since the start of the playoffs that Time Lord is the X factor for the Celtics that could get them over the hump to become NBA champs again. He was clearly the main reason they beat the Heat in the ECF as he pretty much made Bam Abedayo moot in the games he played in that series (and coincidentally the Celts only won when Time Lord played). He also was critical in the Celts beating the Bucks as he was able to help contain their bigs (Portis, Lopez and the Greek Freak) along with Big Al.
I see Time Lord having a career like another legendary defensive monster Big Ben Wallace if he lives up to his potential. He’s essentially a bigger, longer, and just as athletic version of Big Ben who consistently made the NBA defensive first team and multiple winner of DPOY. And, of course, was instrumental in the Pistons championship in 2004. In fact, Athe Pistons should have been back-to-back champions during that period but Sheed made a bone head play in Game 6 against the Spurs and the rest is history! Instead of people talking about the Piston’s dynasty period, people talk about the Spurs and Pops being the dynasty team during that period.
Anyhow, I digress and my point is that Time Lord will be the difference maker and why the Celts will win the championship but only if he’s healthy. If so Celts in 6; otherwise, we’ll see a game 7 and it will be a coin flip IMO. Regardless, I predict Time Lord could go down as one of the top defensive big of his generation in the vein of Big Ben, Dikembe Mutombo, and Hakeem the Dream Olajuwon (although Time Lord will never compare to the Dream offensively as Hakeem in my book was the greatest Center I ever saw play in my era ie., 1980s to today PERIOD!)

BTW, I know people will say Shaq but even he will admit (and I believe he has stated it publicly) that Hakeem was the greatest center in the NBA since the 80’s. Skill wise there is no comparison. Shaq was the most physically dominant center ever but no comparison to the Dream in my opinion. And I am talking after the Lou Alcindor aka Kareem era as he is prolly the greatest center of all time although some may say Bull Russell since he has more rings.

I remember when Hakeem added the "H" to his name! Tracked em thru the 70"s w Moses and 80"s n 90's w Olajawon... and remember where I was, a new microbrewery when the white bronco was being filmed made AL Cowlings famous.

What was the microbrewery? That was such the early days for microbreweries. Would love to hear which one, and where.

No major advantages for either team after the announcement of tonight’s officiating crew. Good sign for Boston that Robert Williams is both playing and starting tonight.
With that being said, tonight I’ll be off
Celtics -3.5 2u
Celtics -2.5 First Half 1.5u
Celtics -1 2nd Quarter 1u
will also be playing Jaylen Brown o33.5 points at +580 for .5u
Celtics have repeatedly shown the ability to bounce back after a loss and expect them to do so tonight easily if they can limit their turnovers. Celtics are +77 in the second quarter of games this postseason so if you like the C’s to win this is the quarter where they usually have gone on runs. Good luck everyone
