Question

My book is 8/11 Pierce and 6/1 Garnett, surely one of these 2 win the award if Boston wins. I know Ray Allen has performed in all 4 games but just wondering who the forum members think is the better value out of Garnett or Pierce?

I think Allen might win it but if not him Pierce. Garnett has probably done the worst out of the three overall. Of course that is not saying much since they are still the best by far and proving it every night.

What odds are you getting on Allen?

Allen is 5/1. It&#x27;s a UK based firm who are doing this but I looked at sportsbook.com and they are 1/2 Pierce, 6/4 KG and 3-1 Allen.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;I think Pierce wins it cos he has guarded Kobe most games and also put up the numbers in the games they won. Just think KG is worth a shout cos he is the main focus to start with and thus get the space for Allen and Pierce to play their roles.

Ray Allen has guarded Kobe in every game except for the 2nd half of last nights game.Just comparing stats Allen has out performed KG and Pierce in every statistical category.

Is the MVP given out just for the finals or for the whole playoffs?&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;if it was just the finals then Ray Allen so far should get it.  But if its for the whole playoffs then its Pierce.

Paul Pierce is getting some love as a long time Celtic and for coming back from the overblown injury, but on stats alone, it's Ray Allen. The series isn't over yet and I believe it goes back to Boston. I could still see Kobe winning the MVP if the series goes 7 (win or lose).
