Lost with the Bulls -8.5 due to a poor 4th q but I hit my Bulls -340/Rangers -190 parlay.
YTD: 8-5 (+2.85 units)
ATS: 5-3 (+1.7 units)
LIVE: 2-2 (+0.2 units)
Parlays: 1-0 (+0.95 units)
Hawks -3 (1 unit)
I don't know why this spread is so low but I'm going with ATL here. The Hawks are a good home team and the Raps weren't that impressive against the lowly Celtics. I think after a tough loss in Dallas the Hawks get it done in their home opener.
Magic +3.5 (1 unit)
The Magic have played two very competitive games against one great team (Pacers) and one up and coming team (Timberwolves). The key is that both games were on the road. Granted, the Pelicans are a much improved team but let's not forget they only won 27 games last year. I don't see how you can lay points with a team like that. Orlando is young and from what I've seen so far I think they will be better than people think. Oladipo is going to be a stud.
Heat -3.5 (1 unit)
The Heat have owned Brooklyn recently. Coming off a loss to the league's worst team I think this is a great bounce back spot. Once the Nets have everything clicking I think they have a good a chance as any team to beat Miami. But right now they have too many new players plus a new coach and I think they start off slow. Miami wins 101-94.
Nuggets -5 (1 unit)
The Nuggets aren't as good as they were last year but they will still be dominant at home. They went 38-3 on their home court in 2012 and even if you take away say 8 wins off of that you still have a 30-11 record. Teams struggle in this high altitude environment. Like Denver in this one.

Last year when bulls were 8+ home favs they were 11/11 ATS...
Not rubbing in your loss, I had bulls to, just thought id share. I think everyone sees Rose as a offensive savour to the bulls, but also when bulls had rose they only avg an extra 3.1pts per game or something...

I just felt that since their record at home with D-Rose in the lineup was so good and they would get it done. They were up 6-10 all game until the 4th where they fell apart. No big deal.
The Pelicans are improved but they haven't shown anything yet to be favoured on the road. Orlando has played competitively against two good teams.
Wouldn't touch the Cavs in Charlotte. Same deal with the Pelicans. Though I think Cleveland is better than New Orleans.
