Last chance this regular season to take advantage of the Grizzlies dominance at home on Friday nights. They are 8-0 and 8-0 ATS this season, and a perfect 8-0 ATS in the 1st halves as well by even bigger margins than the full game. Last Friday night the Grizzlies led the Rockets 83-52 at halftime.

Tonight I’m on the Grizzlies -2.5 in the 1st half. They’re facing the same Clippers team that just took advantage of  numerous missing Grizzlies two days ago while ending Memphis’ 12-game home winning streak. I’m looking for cocaine bears tonight.

8 turnovers and 0-8 from downtown. An unreal shit show from the Grizzlies in the 1st quarter. Shockingly bad.

A 12-2 Grizzlies run and still no hope of recovery (in my traditionally pessimistic view).

19-2 run.

24-4 run. All kinds of pressure being applied now. Ex-Clipper Luke Kennard has swished a trio of threes to help bring his teammates back.

Kennard again, 31-7 run.

“The Clippers grab the rebound - no, they throw it away! Bane for three……timeout, Clippers!”

The Suns had it so easy in the 1st half against the Nuggets' backups that they simply lost interest after that. In doing so, they proved to us once again that NBA teams cannot and will not bring their "A" game when they know the opponent is showing up without its best players.

The Grizzly bears had trouble finding the cocaine at the outset of this game, but when they finally stumbled upon that white powdery stash in the final minute of the 1st quarter, the cocaine-fueled bears went berserk in the 2nd quarter. Nice...
