Coming off a nice 4-0 sweep! Posting early tonight...
Wolves -5
I think this is a nice bounce back spot for the Wolves. The last game was a horrible spot for them coming off a game 7 series where they had to dig deep and make a huge comeback in the 2nd half vs the Nuggets. Then play the Mavs who were on a 2 day rest advantage. Minnesota was favored nicely before the series started for a reason and sometimes it is good to not overact to one game. I just don't see Minnesota losing 2 games in a row at home again like vs the Nuggets. They will have to make some adjustments to not get outrebounded (defensively 37-30) and letting guards dominate them in the paint. Minnesota has been really good at guarding the three the last 3 games (opponent less than 30%). I can see Minnesota improving on the glass with some fresher legs. McDaniels has been having good offensive games lately and I like the matchup if Luka guards him. When McDaniels scores they typically win. I can see Antman also having better numbers on offense. Staying away from the total this time, and keep in mind that was a defensive slugfest in the 2nd half. BOL

I've been preaching hard about this Dallas team since before the playoffs! Most underrated defensive team! I think if Luka's knee is a little better they win the series (regardless I think they win). I just like them in this particular spot, and have to play it in my opinion.
My concern with Minnesota is their offense is sometimes stagnant.

You get nothing from Gobert. He’s a liability on the offensive end. Dallas twin towers have zero pressure guarding the paint. Towns should lay off the 3 ball and focus on his inside game. Kick out to 3 point shooters and run Dallas out the gym. Simple

GL freedo Leaning T wolves first half right now still haven’t pulled the trigger on anything yet . I’m rooting for the Mavs I think they march up well but I’d assume Minnesota plays with a sense of urgency

@imsoti8
I agree completely and am expecting Towns to have a better game offensively (on his o20.5 points too). I don't see Minnesota shooting 50 3s this game lol, but attacking the hoop. bol

I think this will be a good series, and maybe goes to a game 7 possibly...I am rooting for the Mavs to win the series too.
Hoping to see a different version of Minnesota tonight, and I like the spot for them. Interested to see what their defense does tonight.

twolves defense had some blips in G1 or more like the mavs were well prepared. those 0-13 13-1 runs late game were crazy, when minnesota ups the tempo dallas defense cant cope. both teams played reasonably well defensively and the over still hit, how well can the wolves guard kyrie? mind pj washington didnt have a great shooting night you put an extra guy on kyrie then pj is free. agree with you its a good spot for minnesota to bounce back but thats only if dallas are satisfied with only taking home advantage and play more lax in G2, thats probably gonna be the case but still prefer the total over. my read on it is minnesota need to score as many as possible to get their confidence back, like how they beat denver away by a large margin, their sense of superiority is a big part of why they've got this far imo

Yah I think Edwards and the Wolves were gassed that 2nd half last game. I'm not sure Edwards guards Kyrie as much this game, but maybe McDaniels will be on him. I'm curious if Kyrie has another offensive game like that scoring 30+. That was his first dominant performance of the playoffs.
I'm with you on the OVER, and played it earlier today. I just think this number is too low. 2nd half slowed down last game with the Wolves being tired imo from the Denver series. They will be more rested for this game, and should attack the paint more. Wolves also had too many games in a row holding their opponent to a low 3pt %. I think we see some progression balancing out. We will see if the Wolves can flex this game...bol
