I've really tried to be a fan during these playoffs but this game is awful. I watch teams like the bulls, bucks, clippers, nets and hawks and just gag at the stench. The excitement of which team can break double digit points in a quarter, who can get to 39% shooting, and which team can break 60% at the stripe. The NBA has never been worse. Golden State can be an occasional entertainment exception but the team's of yesterday would steamroll these teams.

Sorry bro. Watching teams go 15 of 27 from the line isn't good defense. Watching teams miss 70 percent of their wide open 15 footers isn't good defense. The Bad boy era Detroit Pistons played great defense, these teams just stink at all the fundamentals.

Agree - mid 80's to late 09's was golden era. Then the NBA changed the rules and the teams got soft. No fundamentals anymore. Just about getting paid

Bro, I agree that the NBA is a major joke, and I can barely stand to watch, however, for different reasons. And I disagree that teams of past would steam roll todays teams.
The NBA is a joke because it's the most predictable sport there ever was. Predicting the final four is about as tough as predicting that Christmas will land on the 25th, and Thanksgiving will land on the forth Thursday of November. Watching these games knowing the out come is really no fun.
Another reason the NBA is a joke is because these guys act like they could care less if they win or lose during the regular season, and a lot of teams actually want to lose. You rarely see a fight anymore because no body really cares enough. Look at baseball, there's been several brawls and it's only three weeks into the season, and they play twice as many games!
Don't get me wrong tho, I still get suckered into these games and would be full out excited if me team was involved (Jazz), but the game still bothers me, mostly because the lack of competitiveness during the regular season and the lack of suspense in the playoffs.
