In the last 5 games the Nuggets bench ranks 6th in the league with a +/- of 1.7. At 55 rpg during their three game win streak the Nuggets are tied first in that category. The Mavs rank 19th for the season with 44 rpg. And 16th in the offensive rpg department. The Mavs are also allowing 13.9 second chance points. Doncic has been playing stellar basketball since the Mavs defeated the Nuggets but this is team basketball and he needs guys to step up. They rank 18th in off and 15th in defense. They also allow 13.9 second chance points for 22nd in the league. Jokic on the other hand is ahead of Doncic in the MVP race. The Nuggets are healthy and dominating since Porters return averaging nearly 117 ppg. The Nuggets are clearly one of the best rebounding teams in the league and those guys you see on the Mavs injury report are key pieces to their puzzle. There’s a reason why they’re dogs today. The Nuggets win 4 straight. Bet it.

Spurs vs Pelicans
Who would pick this lousy teamwork win after a long road trip? I picked NO to beat Minnesota and let me tell it was a complete embarrassment. There’s no way get it right here against a hot Greg Popavich led team. Absolutely no way. Pels are 1-4 in last five vs Spurs and Spurs have dominated them on their own turf. I’m not a trend guy so here’s some more recent numbers. The Spurs current lineup is 8-4. The bench of the Spurs has also woken up with Mills, Vassell, and Gay combining for 48 combined. The Pelicans just took a trip around the map and back and the books are just baiting you in cause they beat the Spurs by 3 before. Go with Pops and the veteran club. This is the right play even if Van Gundy and those birds do pull some magical trick out their ass. But it’s not happening. Not a chance.
