Ahhhhh it’s finally here. Another season of the greatest league in the world. I came up 38 units last NBA season so I thought I’d start sharing my picks. Make some money with me this season boys.
Took a pass on last night’s games. Didn’t see any angles. Just enjoyed basketball being back on TNT.
Wednesday, on the other hand, is looking beautiful. A few picks already locked in for me:
Bucks -1.5 -110 1u
Miami -2.5 -110 1u
Nuggets ML +105 1.5u
Rockets -7.5 -110 1u

Wednesday, on the other hand, is looking beautiful. A few picks already locked in for me:
Bucks -1.5: Bucks are a team I’m very high on and placed a 5u bet on their win total over 45.5 back in August. Budenholzer is one of the best offensive minds in basketball and hiring him is the best thing the Bucks have done since drafting Giannis. He will get this offense MOVING. As long as Miles Bridges doesn’t come out as Donovan Mitchell 2.0 tonight I feel very comfortable with this bet.
Heat -2.5: Not gonna lie, this pick isn’t the result of intense handicapping as much as just a fade of the Magic. Worst run franchise in basketball. All they care about is length and athleticism. Heat are running back with the same team that has exceeded expectations the last two seasons, have great coaching and defense, and should start the season strong against their division opponent.
Rockets -7.5: Can’t help but feel like Houston will start the season strong and run away with this one. Losing Rondo is big for Pelicans. Really hurts depth. The one game these two teams played last season without Cousins, the Rockets won by 23. Eric Gordon and Melo will terrorize opposing teams’ bench units all season which will make very hard for teams to get back in games should Houston go on an early run. Rockets win by 10+
Nuggets +105: Got this one early but I’d still take it as high as -2 or -3 which it shouldn’t even reach. Denver will have a top 5 offense and a bottom 5 defense. Clippers might win 1H, but Denver has too many weapons on offense for LAC to hang around for 4 quarters. Nugs should have been favored to begin with.

Very close to pulling trigger on Heat/Magic u 210. These teams had the 2nd and 8th most unders in the league last season, but somehow managed to go over 3/4 times when playing each other. Not sure what to make of that. Maybe due for some regression.

Atlanta’s injuries are too much for them to overcome in this one. I have lots of confidence in Trae Young but it will take him a few games to get settled. Hawks are arguably the worst team in the league even at full health, and I will gladly fade them missing two starters and on the road.

Bet one game game tonight. What is it? I have a free $100 bet from DraftKings and I wanna make sure it hits.
Personally I’d save it for another night if that’s a possibility. Not sure how DraftKings free bets work but if it has to be tonight I’d put it on the Knicks -3. Hawks have some good pieces in place but Collins and Dedmon being out tonight is soooo bad for them. Kanter will have a field day tonight.

Not going with Miami anymore? They should still be a dominant force down low with Orlando’s suspect D in the paint. Injuries are tough tonight especially with Winslow out now but I think J Rich steps up big tonight. GL tonight as we have similar picks!

Will make a new thread tomorrow for Thursday’s plays but gonna go ahead and lock in Bulls/Sixers o 215. Sixers will free less pressure now that they’re not facing that stingy Celtics D. Should be able to score pretty easily as the Bulls defense is atrocious. Bulls do, however, have some scorers, and I expect this one to go over.
