Detroit +3
Phoenix seems to be a big public play today, and I'm not sure why. Detroit always plays well @ Phoenix, thanks to their defense - something Phoenix doesn't have. Shaq is making this Phoenix team slow on offense. That can only help a good defensive team like Detroit.

Detroit destroyed the Suns. 1-0 NBA POD's.
Chicago +9.5
A Western Conference team with a 35-20 record, on 11 games winning streak, is laying 'only' 9.5 pts against the most disappointing Eastern Conference team, 10 games under .500 is a fishy line imo. Looking deeper into boxscores, you'll find out how improved this Chicago team looks since finally getting healthy a few days ago. Loss of Wallace may be a good thing as well, as they are much faster now. They distributed the ball extremely well in last two games, and everyone got involved. In their last game they had 7 players in double digits, 7 players with at lkeast 1 assist and 8 players with at least a rebound. The same thing happened against New Jersey, with 8 players in double digits, 8 with assists and 10 with a rebound. Overall is last 2 games they had 59 asists and 24 turnovers and in last three games they had 28 rebounds more than their opponents, all that without Wallace. Houston red hot winning 11 straight but could suffer a letdown here after winning the biggest game for them in a while, and certainly the biggest game during this winning streak. Ming and McGrady scored 62 of Houston's 100 pts in that game and no other Rocket scored in double digits in that game. They can not afford that against a deep Bulls squad.
