NBA teams missing link : name player/position for the team
also name how they could aquire the player - free agent under the cap, mid level exception, trade or amnesty
ONLY NAME REALISTIC OPTIONS
eg c.paul to the celtics or k.bryant to the bulls - NOT GONNA happen dont waste peoples time
portland trail blazers :
position CENTER: options : qualifying offer - g.oden (pending medical) this is very risky @ 8.8m (they would need to have a 2 headed monster at C for insurance)
if the blazers must take a risk on a starting center i would trade for c.kaman (camby 9 million exp contract + filler) clips are going to sign d.jordan so kaman will be moved
or even take on a.jeffersons contract - like C = oden/jefferson PF aldridge/jefferson
obviously t.chandler or h.nene would be ideal but would be alot harder to get (i would also include n.batum in a trade to get nene)
for a team to be a championship contender you need a high strength area - the blazers are solid at 1-4 and a frontcourt of aldridge/new C could be 3rd best in the league
C. ????
PF l.aldridge
SF g.wallace/n.batum
SG w.matthews/n.batum
PG r.felton
b.roy???

Indiana is high on PaulMilsap...so possibly Danny Granger (probably other parts involved in that deal)
with a shorter PF like milsap he needs the right frontcourt teammate at CENTER such as a d.howard, a.bogut, t.duncan, a.bynum or m.gasol
jefferson and milsap is just a bad fit imo
i dont think the pacers could afford to lose grangers scoring and the pacers have a shitload of cap space and a gaping hole at PF = someone like NENE would be a good fit (no point saving cap room for next year because no big time superstrs would sign there anyway)
the pacers are also apparantly interested in d.west it will be interesting to see how he comes back after that fucked knee
C. R.HIBBERT
PF. NENE or D.WEST
SF. D.GRANGER
SG. G.HILL
PG. D.COLISON
# t.hansborough would be great as the first bigman off the bench
+ the pacers would have about 8-10 million in cap space to get someone or someones else (eg backcourt upgrade)

i keep seeing bynum and odom to the hornets and CP3 and okafor to the lakers - this is pointless for the hornets ok they clear 3 bad years of okafor on 12 million + but they lose the 6th best player in the nba for 2 good players who will leave after only 2 seasons then they have nothing to show for his loss
the hornets should make a deal with the clippers who have good young players and also own the t-wolves rd 1 pick unprotected in the next draft

who do you think they should try and get?
trade for CP3 seems to be a priority for them?
