Any time for a write up on this one LC? I’m struggling with this one. Both AD and Payton ruled out. Pelicans in a terrible schedule spot in accordance to fatigue. There’s also a big revenge angle for the Blazers.

So many factors against the Pels tn.  I'd be really shocked if this is not a coinflip at best.

Revenge games of 4-0 sweeps historically have done very poorly. If the Blazers lost 4-2 I'd maybe agree this is a decent spot for them but 4-0 sweeps usually tell that the other team is just a bad matchup for you. Normally i'd play Pelicans full game and ML but since they played last night i'll keep it to just 1H as there legs could tire late in the game. 

AD being out doesn't worry me as it's reflected in the spread and we get more value with backups playing harder

Win or lose, this is the thought process of a successful long term handicapper.

If the obvious "easy" play always cashed, we would be filthy rich...

"But LC , Davis is out!"

-Of course he knows this already; the 1H line is +5.

"But they're on a back to back!"

-Yes. Teams who played the previous night will often "carry forward" that momentum (win or loss) before fatigue may become a factor in the 2nd Half.

Best of luck LC, not just on this play, but the rest of the season as well

Where did you get a +5 line on 1st half ? The largest the full game spread grew to was -.8.5 , how could half time line be that high ?

I believe it closed +4. I had +4.5 at -120 on 5Dimes. Bought the half to +5 at -135 but added Ohio State money line (-1050) on Saturday to offset the juice (similar to your OKC money line add the other night). The push now has me with a $275 single bet on Ohio State at -1050.

That final shot before half by pelicans was awful. I understand u want last shot but I feel like they dribbled out the clock. Had it at +4.5 :(
