Noticing lots of love for LA on Covers for two main reasons...1)It is not expected Ray will have the same game and 2) Kobe will not be in foul trouble.
1) It's true, Ray will not likely break the all time three point record in Finals history or even tie it. It's not often a record breaking performance is broken let alone duplicated and I don't expect it tonight. But who says Boston needs such a performace to prevail. If that's the case, why not just fade Boston throughout this series because not only don't I expect it tonight but for the rest of the series. What people fail to mention is in this same game, KG and Pierce made 2 shots apiece. I know KG has been struggling and Pierce has been locked down by Artest, but I can assure you that there will be more than 4 shots between the two and this will make up for any drop off Ray may have. However, I still think Ray has a big game especially if Fisher continues to guard him.
2) I also don't expect Kobe to be sitting on the bench for long strectches as in game 2, but Kobe isn't going to win this game on his own. What's that crazy stat when Kobe scores over 25 or something? If the Lakers are going to win it's going to be a team effort as in game 1 when all were clicking except for Odom....and who knows if that guy will ever show.
Also, too much talk about how Boston is no good at home...they were 31-19 and all though that's not great it sure isn't bad. ATS they were an abysmal 17-27 ATS as a favorite, but keep in mind the avg line for these home games was -8! Boston pretty much just has to win tonight. And this is possible given that LA is 2-10 SU when they are a road dog of 3 or less and 4-8 ATS.
There is also talk that Boston is old and that only one day of rest will be an advantage for LA, however, Boston does have the better record ATS off 1 day rest.
I'm going to take my chances with the home team tonight in what will be an electric crowd....something Garnett feeds off.

been tailing you for quite sometime and i gotta say you are one of the better cappers around and congrats to ya on your good record.
Still, I think the lakers are a better team and they're better at every position except for the rondo factor. Lakers have proven that Beantown's big men cannot match up with theirs and kobe is unstoppable if the refs stay neutral. Yeah Boston is good but come on, what do you really expect tonight? Pierce is going to get his 15-20 pts, Allen and Rondo 15-20 but I think their big boys are going to be non-factors like the previous 2 games...Garnett is old and slow just like Gasol said.
On the other hand, I see mr. noshow Kardashian eating lots of candies before game time and bounce back with 20 on the road. Kobe gets his 30, Gasol 20, Bynum 10 (last game was circumstancial) with Fisher flopping his way to another 10 and G-thang Artest being useless again. That's 90 right there...
Hate to go against you but I think the Lakers can win this one.

Hardly-covers- GL to you, it wont be the first time I'm wrong. I'm very reluctant to playing Laker games in general, for or against, because they always seem to fuck me one way or another...hope tonight isn't one of those nights.

Kobe is not unstoppable & lets not forget that Kobe always gets the benefit of the whistle & help of the refs always.

I know that Lakers suck on the road therefore I should take the Celts but don't forget that they suck only when playing an inferior team. These celts are very good so in my opinion the Lakers won't be taking it lightly. Don't get me wrong, I rather see Boston winning this whole thing...

LA is 2-10 SU when they are a road dog of 3 or less and 4-8 ATS. Three or less means they are going up against superior teams. GL on your plays hc.
