My biggest play of the season so far is going off tonight. Clippers -5.
I like this whether or not Butler plays (I think he does). So the Timberwolves lose in a blowout last night and now have to travel to play Clippers on a back to back. Goes without saying that the Wolves have issues.... and these issues will get magnified in these situations. They don't have a lot of heart to begin, but when in a spot like this (a tough back to back), the lacking of heart and team chemistry issues really get magnified. Derrick Rose is not gonna score 50 tonight and it's not like the Wolves are a good road team even in their best form.
Now, the Clippers are probably the worst team to be facing in this type of situation. What they have lacking in talent, they have in heart. This team has some dogs man. Montrezzzl. Avery Bradley. Booooban. Beverley. Straight thugs. They will eat you up and spit you out. Especially a heartless Wolves team. Just like they did when the Wizards rolled in a few days ago. They come home after a so so road trip. They're 3-1 at home and when they win, they like to win in blowouts.
Good luck, nothing's guaranteed, but this is my favorite play of the season so far.

minny play really good against clips on the road (5-0 ats past 5) plus teams usually bounce back off a 30 pts loss, in fact minny already did once with a bounce back win against lakers.

Thanks. Yes, I agree that teams bounce back well off of blowouts. However, the Wolves have now lost 2 blowouts in a row. So, like the Wizards, they've reached the point of no return in my opinion. Two blowouts easily turn into three. Their bounce back against the Bucks blowout (at home) was at home three full days later. Now they're on a road back to back. Nothing that is wrong with the team will get fixed in this situation. Lastly, I couldn't care less (sorry to be blunt) what has happened in years past between these two teams. It's a different year and the Wolves are clearly in a unique situation....
