I lost a little in betting on the West. Let's start the second half of the season right! Let's earn money!
UTAH-7 The Jazz just love to beat the hell out of the Warriors. They are 2-0 in their last 2 meetings this season showing how good the Jazz is ever since they've eliminated the Warriors in the 06-07 play offs. The Jazz is a very good defensive team that can run the ball very well. They have agile big men that allows them to stretch their defense around the Warrior's perimeter shooters. Expect a Carlos Boozer-dominated-game tomorrow. Expect a more mature team, which is the Jazz, to win it over the Warriors tomorrow. I'm predicting something close to a 112-98 Utah win tonight!
HOU-1 The Cavs is an obvious favorite in tonight's game. Daniel Gibson coming from an 33 pts (all from beyond the 3!) performance in the rook vs. soph and LBJ winning yet another All Star MVP plus a healthy Drew Gooden and give Cleveland+1 just sounds so good for everyone to bet on the Cavs. The thing is, TMac is as healthy as he could get this season. The Houston defense is as hot as ever giving them an 8 game winning streak. Not only are they defensively talented, they're also getting good production from their bench which the Cavs severely lacks. Larry Hughes seems to have awaken again and is looking to give LBJ the much needed scoring boost he's been looking ever since he was acquired from Washington. Expect a close game on this one but the Rocket's defensive intensity will win it for them. I'm predicting somewhere around 92-88 in favor of Yao and the Rockets!
DET-7 There ain't a party like a Detroit party! Detroit is flawless in their last 10 games. And has only given up 4 loses when playing at home. The Pistons is seriously showing why they are made of and don't expect them to slack of in the final half. Orlando isn't what Detroit will consider an inferior team (they really got a bad record losing/not covering when playing against inferior teams) and they'll be showing their mettle in this one. Expect Flip Saunder to make them play a high level of basketball to start the second half of the season. Yet again, the defensive team which is the Pistons will take this one. I'm predicting a 101-87 win for the Pistons.
PHI-2.5 A good reason to play the 76ers tonight is because they can easily match up with Minnesota. The T'wolves is really looking confident this is due to Al Jefferson's continuously improving game. Good thing for Phila backers is that S.Dalembert can really put a body on him and block/intimadate his shots. The Wolves has improved in their home stands but expect the more mature Philadelpia line-up to play well against them. Andre Miller will be getting a double double in points and assists tonight. He's a really strong guard that can post-up on smaller guards matching him. The 76ers' starters will surely be scoring in double figure in this game though I believe this will still be a close game. Expect an 86-83 total from this two team where 76ers will be winning by as little as a basket and a half.
POR-4 The Portland pick isn't really because of the Bibby trade or because of new players haven't meshed up with the new system. This is all because of how good Portland is when playing after a 3+ rest days. Brandon Roy came from two successful performance and will continue to mature and grow into a franchise player that can really carry his team. A young team like Portland entering the break with a 4 game losing streak will seriously bounce back in tonights game. Look for them to start a winning streak similar to what they did earlier this season. The totals should go 100-91 in favor of the young Portland Trailblazers.
Comments/Thoughts/OR anyone playing against me?

me no likey Portland or Detroit tomorrow...R.Lewis was terrible in their last meeting and he's dying for an expanded offensive role. Taking into account D-12's new lease on life on the defensive end of the floor, and we'll have a nailbiter finish rather than a blowout. Sacramento doesn't lose anything in the Bibby trade, his primacy took away from the likes of K-Mart/Salmons...while Ron-Ron and Miller will still get the same looks as they did prior to the deal...Portland's home record is amazing, but this is a very healthy Kings team who are looking to establish themselves rather than roll over and let the youngest team in the league work them over.

You know how I feel about Utah and Portland. I was surprised about the number on Portland, that will climb. Take both money lines and parlay as well. You should have a monster night tomorrow. Houston is tough no play, Detroit will blow them out.

I like your Analysis with the Portland and Sac game. Sacramento will get even better but probably not as fast as after a game or two after the break. Sacramento is already a good team but them being really good rests on Ron-Ron's game. If he decided to play good basketball everything else will fall into place.
I'm a Detroit fan and so I am a bit biased towards Detroit games. Kidding about the biased part. Detroit won't just let SuperMan have fun tonight. I'm a bit worried on how will Rasheed play. If he keeps his cool and play up to his average Detroit will be cruisin' on Orlando tonight.

@ MustLoveDogs Phi and Hou seems like a trap. But I seriously feel the force towards Houston tonight. LBJ scored 32 in their last meeting though he can do that again I believe T-Mac will showcase what the fans missed in the allstar game tonight. He only scored 10 points in their first meeting and he came-off the bench in that one. It should be a close game no doubt but expect the team that got the most defensive juice to win this one.

@IRORTM I agree with you on this one. The Blazers has shown how they were before they started their run in the last few months of 2007. I know trends is rather foolish but after analyzing them ever since the season started has earned me a lot already (my biggest was from the Spur@Boston game where the Acela Angle made the diff).
BOL to everyone.

Boston @ +1 buying 2 points to +3. boston has best road record and KG playing. need i say anymore
Minnesota Timberwolves +3 over Philadelphia. might by 2 points just to add comfort to +5
The 76ers ended the first half of its season with five straight victories (all at home) and now will try to recapture that momentum after the All Star Break. The Timberwolves played the Sixers very tough at Philly on Dec. 12, and lost by just four points, 98-94. Minny has won five of the last six meetings here at the Target Center.
