New York must have one of the dumbest GM, wow did the Knicks really got a bad trade.  Dallas will be a good team for years to come.

FACTS&#xA;NY couldve traded Kristaps on his rookie deal to literally anyone....&#xA;instead they get two overpaid players that will likely leave anyway and another young point guard even tho they already have a few...and couldnt even get a pick for it

Its an ok move...Knicks did not offer the rookie extension to Unicorn this past summer...Very good chance they did not re-sign him anyway...They are getting expired contracts to make a run for Max FA this summer...They also are in the running for the #1 pick.

DSJ and Knox are 2 good young talented players....Add in Zion or RJ Barrett and the future is very bright...or they trade the potential #1 pick for AD and go after Kyrie/KD/Kemba...

Yep this, the Knicks did not trade for those guys to be in their future plans. They dumped Hardaways contract and cleared up a bunch of space for the summer. Now they&#x27;re going to have to try to sell New York to some guys that have plenty of options out there. Gonna be tough.

They get a huge amount of salary cap space but I really like Porzingis as a player and I think he will come back and play as good as he was before the injury so Doncic and KP duo for dallas is great potential. What I don&#x27;t like is if they want to get Kemba or Kyrie then why go get dennis smith jr. who plays point guard?? I hope this works out well for the knicks but I thought KP was a batman or robin type of star and they just needed another star to play with him and knox..

Read somewhere the ownership of msg were selling. Wouldn&#x2019;t doubt it somehow if mark cuban was able to work something out on the side. Got a great deal for sure.

I dunno. I kinda like what the knicks did. They now have young talent in dsj, and cap space for 2 max fa next yr. Plus picks.
